So the drinks were outstanding. 5 stars for the Wild Buck cocktail and Old Fashioned. I'll go back for that. For the food,... both the chicken adobada and ribs were far too salty. It's a cool spot to grab some food and drinks. We had dinner there, and it was good. In my opinion, the main dishes selection,... is not normally what you find in GV area. The appetizers where good, the drinks where good, the desert where delicious. Nospecial running when we went. It's worth stopping and having a bite to eat, a drink or two, but the menu doesn't fit the area. Read more

My husband and I stopped in to the Holbrooke for drinks and dessert on our date night, and were met with a delightful experience... too good not to share. Although it was a busy Saturday evening, we were seated right away in the beautifully revamped diningroom (this is NOT the aging hotel of my youth!). Staff were warm and knowledgeable, helping us pick the perfect cocktail (HIGHLYrecommend the Old Aztec. Dangerously delicious), as well as recommending just the right dessert. I ordered the Pork Milanese (pictured). It was good, not great, but still good. The price is fair, $16, but I expected more. I... was there with three other guests and none were extremely satisfied with their meal. I will say the buttermilk basil sauce wasvery good. There wasn't a lot on the brunch menu, which is the only menu you can order from until 2 PM. Read more
