Loved their food. The creme brûlée was curled on the inside like tapioca pudding but everything else was great and the wait... staff was amazing. Loved the rooms inside this old house. Really cool place. Ate here a couple of times and it wasconsistently great. The food tasted fresh home made not from frozen and the garlic bread was served warm and perfect. FreshParmesan cheese offered with your dish too which I love. Staff was very kind and friendly and the service was good. Italianmusic playing was not overbearing and actually quite beautiful. Absolutely delicious! Service was amazing. We were celebrating a birthday and a few of the waitstaff came over to sing a Spanish... birthday song with us. My daughter has celiac and must not have any cross contamination with gluten. The kitchen was verycareful to prepare her meal on separate surfaces and cooked her gluten-free pasta in a fresh pot of water. The atmosphere wasvery cozy in a renovated historic home. Read more
I'm not generally an Italian food person. I prefer traditional beef and chicken, but I was part of a group who chose to go here... and was I ever surprised. There were 7 of us and we each ordered something different. Everyone was thrilled and remarked overand over how good it was. I chose the scaloppine marsala with chicken and mushrooms. The marsala wine sauce andpolenta/roasted veggies were better than dessert to my tastebuds. We will definitely return and highly recommend! Reasonablypriced, too, and excellent service. Read more

The food was very good. Almost took me back to when it was called the Villa Venusia. It was always busy. I came in after 8 on a... Saturday and was surprised how dead it was. It's a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. If you're visiting GV this would bemy pick for Italian. There are others that have better reviews but this has a special flavor, at least to me. Didn't get fivestars because they used to make the pasta from scratch, would appear that is not the case anymore but I could be wrong. Read more
They were able to accommodate my family of 10 with family visiting with no issues. I ordered the shrimp scampi which was... forgotten until I left to take one of my kids to the bathroom. My family mentioned that staff forgotten about my dish. Butbrought it out instantly when mentioned. My family was nearly finished. I did enjoy all the appetizers, bruschetta and friedcalamari. Staff ensure our drinks were topped off. Here's the downer. Within 1 hour of leaving the restaurant, I startedfeeling weird with chills. I got home 1.5 hours later and I ended up sleeping the night on benadryl and Tylenol with lots ofwater as I had the chills, muscle aches, vomiting, and diarrhea. 15 hours later of sleeping, headache for days and nausea withvomiting. Over all, I love the restaurant when it's a smaller party, can ensure my food and drinks appropriately. But with alarge party, I was playing the risk game. During the pandemic, the restaurant was offering lunch orders to go. I was ordering from here at least once a week. I've tried... almost everything. I absolutely LOVE the ravioli! All of the sauces are delicious, but I find that the gorgonzola sauce is themost savory. It's my favorite and I crave it. My fiancé took me out last night and I tried the shrimp ravioli special. I feltlike Bill Murray in What About Bob. It was SO good! My fiancé tried the linguine polpette. We loved the dishes so much, weordered more to-go so we can enjoy the food again today. They packed our to-go order with care and a bag full of fresh garlicbread. Read more
All around delightful restaurant. Outdoor seating was surprisingly warm, the vibe relaxing, the food was inhaled, and the... service perfect. One of my favorite Thanksgiving experiences. I'll be back. Read more
