A friend took me here for lunch - I had never heard of it nor been. I don't hang out in Grapevine, and that's probably a... mistake! The "city" itself is charming and old fashioned, especially with their Christmas decorations already up! We had a 30minutes wait to eat, even though we saw a number of empty tables; we later found out that there was only ONE server for theentire restaurant (bless her heart!). Anyway, the food was really good. I had my most favorite meal: a grilled cheese sandwichand tomato basil soup! Delicious! (It wasn't just a plain one.) My friend had 3 "scoops" of their chicken, egg, and tuna saladson lettuce, and it looked good, too. I loved their dishes: mismatched China plates, saucers, cups, etc., a vintage feel. Myfriend said it's actually a tea room, so that makes sense. All in all, I would highly recommend Mason & Dixie for lunch. (Notsure of their hours, etc.) We had somewhere to go, but I would have liked to stroll around and check out the many little shopsin Grapevine! Read more

Great service, great food! While we wouldn't call it southern food, but rather hipster food, it definitely had the southern... hospitality! Melissa, our server, was incredibly helpful and courteous, and made our anniversary lunch special! I willdefinitely be ordering the brisket grilled cheese with blueberry chipotle dressing. No contest whatsoever for a savory lover. Mywife loves sweet and said the fig jam sandwich was her new favorite sandwich period. We will definitely return! Read more

The best bread pudding in Texas. If you don?t have room for dessert - start there - it is absolutely amazing.

This is such a cute little place. I love the decor and the food is pretty tasty. The portions are good. I got a wedge salad and... the grown up grilled cheese. The salad didn?t look like typical wedge salad but the flavor was good. The soup was tasty. We hada glass of rose too and it was great! Also well priced! Read more

The food was great! The grown up grilled cheese and tomato basil was light but filling! The poinsettias were great. Our waitress... was definitely the cherry on top of our experience. Beautiful location and wonderful atmosphere. The restaurant was full but theseating was spaced out perfectly to where you couldn't overhear other people's conversations. Read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch. The staff was friendly, courteous, and had a good sense of humor. We were seated... shortly even though it was busy and there was a wait. The restaurant is clean, shabby chic, and casual. We split a mixed greenssalad and also a panini and chicken salad sandwich with tomato basil soup. Everything came out timely, fresh, and just the righttemp. Would recommend to anyone. They also serve wine and local beer ???? Read more

This place is amazing. The ambiance is both warm and inviting. The eclectic furniture, and farmhouse art takes your mind off... the hustle and bustle outside. The food is simple yet delicious. Wine, tea, beer, and southern hospitality all combine for awonderful experience. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. Read more
