Reviews for Amore's Pizza and Pasta in Grapevine, TX
Went here tonight with some friend. The food was good. Albeit they were a little discombobulated due to their head chef calling... off sick tonight. But the owner was very kind and did a great job of taking good care of us while we were there. If I am everin the area, I would happily go back and try it again. Read more
Just went to Amore?s for the first time and I can without a doubt say I will be back, and I will be back frequently. The staff... was extremely friendly and the owner was a great guy. Everyone offered suggestions and had an answer for every dish on themenu. The restaurant it self was very clean and appeared to be well taken care of. If it hadn?t been a Tuesday night, Iprobably would?ve stayed for a few hours. The food was phenomenal, I got a slice of Buffalo Chicken Pizza and the LobsterRavioli. I ordered the food to-go but ate my salad and bread while waiting for my order. The bread was absolutely phenomenal andthe house salad dressing is unreal, I highly recommend dipping your bread into the dressing. I finally got my food and theyincluding two extra orders of rolls. The Lobster Ravioli was unreal, flavor amazing, cooked perfectly, the only thing I ask foris if they can remove the tails from the shrimp, no big deal, just makes it a little easier. The ?slice? of Buffalo ChickenPizza was pretty much a personal pizza big enough for 2. The flavor was phenomenal and the bread was delicious. Over 10/10.Along with the awesome staff, incredible food and spotless restaurant, it?s BYOB. If you are looking for a nice hangout spotwhere you can enjoy a great meal with friends or family, this is the place to go. I?ll be back and I can?t wait. Read more

This place is simply AMAZING! Went last night for the first time since it's been under new ownership and let's just say it did... not disappoint! The pasta was fresh, the marinara was very flavorful, and the bread melts in your mouth! The new owner Chris andhis staff are very attentive and it was overall a FABULOUS NEW PLACE to eat in Grapevine! You must add this to your next outingwhen you want Italian food! I promise you will not be disappointed! Love that on weekends they have live entertainment whichmakes it fun and supports local artist! Now, go make that reservation while you still can. It won't be long before the word getsout and you may have to wait for a table! Read more
My wife loves tiramisu so we stopped by on our way home for the dessert. I'd had theirs before and they were great. But today... they were the smallest pieces of tiramisu I've seen at a restaurant. Even if they cost less than $7 each, I would expectbigger. Very disappointing. I called the restaurant and asked why they were so small and the girl said, "Sorry, that's justthe way they come out of the box." Read more
This is hands down the best Italian food within a 100 mile radius. Absolutely phenomenal food. Traditional cuisine that has all... the flavors you want, and an excellent staff to recommend and guide you through the menu if you desire. Shout out to Nick andKent for their recommendations and expertise. Read more
My daughter came home from college and wanted Amores. This use to be our favorite place to eat Italian food. We went this past... Friday the 7th at 6 pm thinking we would get ahead of the crowds and have less of a wait time for our food. Needless to say wewere very disappointed with the NEW AMORES. Some of the old favorites were not on the menu, the wait to get our salads wasclose to 30 minutes and the food was near the same amount of time after the salads. There was maybe another 10 people in theplace besides our party of 10. Waiting for food is not an issue if the food is worth the increased price. The food was oversauced and noodles were cold over most our dishes. The lasagna was hot on the edges but cold in the middle. We decided not tosend anything back as we have already waited over an hour for our food except for one child?s plate that was too cold for her toeat. They seemed under staffed and only half the food was eaten by our family. My bill alone was 100 for 5 entrees of nothingspecial: spaghetti with mushrooms, 2 tortellini a chicken Parmesan and some kind of shrimp pasta that was Luke warm. The onlything that was hot was my Chicken Parm because it came out last. Needless to say we will have to find a new Italian place whichreally saddens me as it is no where even close to the same as before. Read more
