What a gem! I?ve had dinner twice at the inn en route to Baltimore and the food has been delicious. Excellent meatloaf, dinner... rolls and pies. The broccoli was prepared perfectly?not overcooked but still fork-tender. And my husband said the cinnamon rollswere some of the best he?s ever had. Very worth a stop here. Read more
Delicious homemade food and super inviting warm, cozy atmosphere. The huge fireplace on a chilly day was lovely. I got the... chicken soup and grilled cheese. It was perfect. The smell of homemade bakery items enticed us to take home several goodies. Read more

Stopped at this quaint B&B/restaurant on our way to Pa. Very pleasant treat. I had the buffalo chicken salad, which I couldn?t... finish, and husband had the haddock sandwich. Excellent experience! Read more
This is my second stay here at this historic motel and not much has changed. I stayed here 11 months ago. It's a historic motel... it has a different feel compared to most places because of that. The rooms could still be updated. The room has old fashionedfurniture. Some old chairs a old table old lights extra. The bed is pretty comfortable. The reason why the rooms could beupdated is because we have a microwave and a Keurig but no fridge. The shower changes temperature fast but has a very strongpressure which some people might not like. As far as it's location it's perfect if you're coming to explore the historic partsof Grantsville Maryland or go hiking up in Somerset PA. The hotel has its own restaurant which is the first thing open onSaturdays. We went for breakfast. The food is considered homestyle cooking. The food is edible but it's not anything special.The food has decent portion sizes for pretty cheap prices. Overall the hotel is worth the price you pay in terms of location andcomfort they just need to add a few more things to the rooms. There is a few food options and historical attractions nearby. Rooms have been updated with decor. Keurig, microwave in room and you can request a mini fridge in room. Situated right on... main St. Within walking distance to park. Restaurant on premises. No room service. Shampoo and soap are minimal so bring yourown or request extras. A pleasant stay. Property has a small flower garden with benches, a covered walk bridge with benches aswell as a few common rooms with couches. Double check your bill in the restaurant. We had a party of 6 with 5 adult breakfastbuffets and one child and were charged for 10 buffets! Not sure how they came up with that. Problem was noted before we paidand easily rectified. Historic rooms are nice, but if you stay in winter make sure they turn the heat on. They have a blockerso it looks like your heat is on. I froze until the heat got turned on at 3 am. The property management did end up giving me apartial refund. I was satisfied with how they handled it. Probably will never get historic room again, but will definitely stayin motel which has individual ac/heat. Read more

Clean rooms and friendly staff. They will take really good care of you. There are actually two buildings that are part of the... Casselman Inn - one is the older, original building with all its charm and the other is a motel like building a short walk away.The original building rental prices are higher at this building compared to the motel-like other building. The original buildingdoes have a restaurant on the lower floor. The food there was really good. The hotel is located a stones throw from the famousCassellman Bridge and river. Outstanding fly fishing can be had at the Cassellman river. Read more
