I went here after a long trip moving and wasn't expecting much. However this place exceed all my expectations. It was clean and... really nice as well. It seemed like a wonderful spot to host a party or get together in Grants Pass. I grew up with the MountainMike's in Medford and have many fond memories of that place, now this place was the same amazing pizza, and a wonderfulatmosphere with some games for the children. First time here. Got the alps. Very good pizza and filling. Lots of toppings. Hard to stop eating after you should. 2 of us ate... 1/2 of a large. Worth the extra 6 bucks from the medium. We ate in. Didn't see any beer on the online menu, but they do havearound 6 kinds. Don't remember what kinds other than Michelob ultra. We waited about 15 minutes after we ordered till wereceived it. They have plates, forks , red peppers, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper available. They also have a salad bar.Didn't pay much attention to it, so don't know what was there. Not very busy. It was 6pm on a Friday. But they were doing a lotof delivery's. And take out. We thought the price was more 3 $$$ instead of 2 $$ as posted on line. If I get the hankering, I'dgo again. Read more
Great pizza. The staff was friendly and made sure we were happy. The kids played some arcade games while they waited for the... pizza which was quick, hot and delicious. The only thing I wish was different would be the clinical ambiance. Sort of feels likeeating at Subway, if subway had good food. UPDATED: the staff at Mountain Mikes in GP go above and beyond to ensuresatisfaction. The pizza is the best I?ve had in GP and should be the topic of study by other pizza purveyors in this great city.I maintain my opinion on the ambiance but have grown fond of our table near the entry. Regardless of what anyone might say... this is the best pizza place in Grants Pass. Not only do they have excellent products but... if they screw up, they will go above and beyond to make you happy. Treat them with respect when calling about your wrong orderand they won't just credit you for the wrong order but also delivery fees. They'll even pay close attention to what your correctorder should look like. People make mistakes all the time, orders get mixed up or timing might be off especially on busy days.If you have concerns and address those concerns to employees with respect no matter how upset you might be, Mountain Mike's willtreat you like the King or Queen you deserve to be treated as. I'm very impressed with their service, I'm very thankful for suchan amazing staff. Don't listen to thise 1 star people cause those people have been mad all day long or their entire life andjust wanna blast whoever they can. The GM and all his employees are amazing people that will go out of their way for you as longas you show them respect when you call to complain. They don't mind the complaints and will make your order right in a way thatpleases you up to the full value of the wrong order. Just an excellent team. Delicious pizza, it was hearty, lots of toppings, done fast. All around was a good experience. A tad pricey but very good pizza.
** Edit after multiple attempts with Mountain Mikes have to drop 3 star down to 1 star, multiple times ordering have had issues.... Tonight I called in with a coupon for $18.99 Any Large 1 Topping Pizza (picture attached) girl who answered the phone said noit's $19.99 and needed a coupon number. I was put on hold 3 times as she came back with the same answer, and would not honortheir own coupon? There's no expiration date, no code, only stipulation says "valid only at Grants Pass Oregon location" lasttime I checked that's where we're at. Take a look at the photo it couldn't be spelt out any clearer... What a terrible businessmodel - Create a coupon with no expiration then don't honor what you publish and make your customer feel stupid reading itmultiple times! No reason to go back or recommend** Never thought another pizza place would make Abbys seem affordable... Thepepperoni pizza was really good, but a touch greasy - Crispy pepperoni cups, good crust and overall flavor, but too expensiveand doesn't have nearly the amount of pepperoni slices as pictured. If it wasn't for a coupon we would have never tried it,regular price is $24.30 for a 1 topping pizza?! They are barely cheaper than Abbys but Mountain Mikes (large) is only 14"compared to others 16" We also ordered garlic bread for $5.00 it wasn't worth $2.50 it was 2 pieces of toast with a littlegarlic and a slice of cheese (pictured.) They would do so much more long term volume if they had more affordable menu prices.You shouldn't have to download an app or search for coupons to buy your family a decent pizza... Their price puts them in a"treat" category for the average family something to splurge on once or twice a year. I hope they find success but i've seenmany pizza places come and go after the initial buzz dies down.
