Lovely small business. The decorations look wonderful and the service is good. We had to get up and ask for the bill because our... waiter left, but other than that it was great The food however, was a total mixed bag. I got a meatball sub with a side ofchips. My mother got a chicken Alfredo with a side of garlic bread. She said the flavor was great but everything was cookedwrong. My bread was lovely but the marinara was way too sweet. The meatballs also tasted funny. Chips were absolutely wonderfulthough. Overall, if you're here to grab a snack or a to go bite, it'd be great. But don't get the dinner menu, not worth theprice. BEST ITALIAN WE HAVE EVER EATEN!!! The staff is friendly, Karen is an AMAZING server! The owner is one hell of a chef, and the... atmosphere is quaint, quiet, and laid-back. The homegrown giant slice of zucchini that I got on my plate of spaghetti with spicysausage and meatballs what cooked to perfection, as were my wife?s green beans.her Ziti was honestly even tastier than what Iordered!!! The salad was awesome, dressing was delicious, as well as whatever kind of olives they use - those were to die for!Everything is homemade from scratch like your grandma used to cook (which is impossible to find these days) and probably why Ididn?t suffer acid reflux. The restaurant itself is located at the beginning of a neighborhood and looks to be a converted house- if you blink you will miss it! But do not be deterred.. my palate likes intensely flavor balanced foods, and that is exactlywhat we got! Do yourself and family a favor, and treat them - you will NOT be sorry! Read more
5 stars can be achieved with a few minor changes. SO CLOSE. My husband and I got the family style dinner for 2. Our two picks... were shrimp Alfredo and lasagna. For 7 pc of shrimp, it was an extra $6.50. The food itself tasted very flavorful but I wasstill hungry after wiping my plates clean with the bread. The minestrone was the best I have ever had except it had a touch toomuch salt. The salad was impressive and good. I like that they bring out olive oil and balsamic vinegar with bread in thebeginning, however, the bread would taste SO much better if it was sourdough instead of French bread, and if it was toastedinstead of cold chunks of French bread. The lasagna had amazing flavor but needed more meat. The Alfredo needed more garlic andsalt. The customer service was top notch and the restaurant is IMPRESSIVE and VERY CLEAN. If the portion sizes were bigger andthere were some mild adjustments to seasonings with garlic/salt, I would raise to 5 stars. I?m definitely still going torecommend to my friends and family and we will be back. Also, the iced tea is sooooo addicting for some reason! Great customer service. Food was OK, highlights were the house Salad Dressing. Their coffee is not great, they used an instant... powder for my decaf, not exciting, although it did come served with a cute cookie. Nice choices for creamers though. Niceoffering of pasta dishes, including multiple choices for spaghetti sauces which I appreciated. Hubby had the Stromboli whichhe said was OK. Presentation lacked in that my plate was plastic as were the bread basket and the table cloth under the glasstop. Oddly, my hubby got a regular ceramic plate. An unimpressive battery candle on the table lacked atmosphere. It was coldand drafty, ceiling fans were on. No masks were warn by any staff at any time. No disinfecting of the front counter between togo customers, we watched many come and go. Music playing were old standards which actually was one of the nicer aspects of thedining feel. You can find parking behind the restaurant as well as on street. Food was hot and tasty and they grated freshparmesan cheese on our food as much as we desired. A nice touch were the bite size bread pieces with oil and balsamic and somenice spices. Spaghetti came with green beans on the side which were actually really fresh and nicely prepared. Read more

My server was very kind, offering her opinions on dishes when asked and knowledgeable about the selection of wines they had in... stock and what could be added from their selection of available beverages to add some flair to my drink. She worked diligentlyto serve the arriving customers and students from the nearby high-school and attentively assured everyone was doing well. Mychoice of a Chicken Alfredo was delicious. It had a side of baked zucchini that I greatly enjoyed. I absolutely recommend forthose seeking a locally owned restaurant. Read more
