Reviews for Susie's Country Oaks Cafe in Granite Bay, CA

Lovely classic diner restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Susie's offers a wide variety of options. Many people love the country... fried steak, and rightfully so. I love the Swedish Frittata. The hash browns are well prepared, not just seared on the outside, nor cooked all the way through. Same with the English muffins, which come with a good portion of butter instead of a skimpysmear. The staff is very attentive and has a happy, conversational demeanor with all customers whether they are regular, frequent, or single-visit guests. The decor is western without being too modern, with a great balance of privacy and openatmosphere. Kitchen restaurants like these are getting more and more rare, so a place like Susie's is even that much more of atreasure. Read more

Brea is a very professional server. She can handle 18 of us men for our Saturday morning Bible study. She is the best.

Very good food and what you would expect from a country kitchen restaurant. I like their hashbrowns and the staff are friendly.

It was really good, I went there with my girlfriend and her family. I had biscuits and gravy along with a hot chocolate. I was... really happy with how it all turned out and it made for a very good morning. They also give a lot of biscuits and gravy for whatI thought was a pretty reasonable price! Read more

This is a nice casual diner. They have a variety of food options. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and... pleasant. I had some apple pancakes. I have never seen apple pancakes before. The apples were cut in small pieces in the mixedin the batter. The size of the pancakes was pretty big. I would recommend getting two unless you have a very large appetite. Theother people in our party had blueberry pancakes which were slightly overcooked and had a slight metallic taste probably fromthe grill. The French toast was good and had a slightly sweet taste like a small amount of sugar was in the batter. It wascoated with powdered sugar. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food. The coffee was good,I would have preferred it alittle stronger, but it was still good and is about average. Read more

Truly one of the last, amazing cafes in the area. We have passed this place many times but today, we went in for breakfast and... boy am I glad we did. Excellent food, great portions, awesome breads and coffee was definitely worth a second or third cup.Service is sweet and personable. Can't wait to try for lunch or dinner! Highly recommend! Honestly, a disgusting restaurant. Tables not wiped down. TABLES NOT WIPED DOWN? like what?? That was a thing that needed to... happen even before Covid! Not a mask in site from the staff. The 13 year olds at the check in desk have NO people skills anddon?t even greet when you walk in. I hate writing negative reviews, but this was SO bad. The photo is what WE wiped off thetable with water, sanitizer and a napkin. ???? Read more
