Dinner at Third & Hollywood was exceptional. Everything we ordered came out looking and tasting very good. Chapeau!

This was a stop on the Grandview food tour. I don?t think they were quite prepared for our arrival. We were in the private... dining area and the chairs are very strange and the table is so big it?s hard to reach to get things. The pimento cheese dip andsmoked salmon are amazing. Highly recommend! Several markers of a high-end restaurant: food is highly seasoned, attention to detail in the dishes, waiter boxed leftovers for... us, free small cookies with the bill. Our server was pleasant. Good food, nice atmosphere. They were out of the hanger steak which was the special. Had the halibut instead which was the other... special. The halibut wasn't great, tasted a little burnt. The biscuits were good, and the pimento cheese was great. Read more

We celebrated our anniversary here this evening and it was an amazing experience. From the ease of the valet parking ($5 but... worth it!)to the hostess staff seating us in an excellent spot near the fireplace, we were very impressed from the start. Ourserver was in training but she did an excellent job. Her name was Meander and she was being trained by Steven. Okay...so thefood is off the charts incredible. The cheddar biscuits absolutely blow the red lobster's out of the water! We were able toenjoy the happy hour ones that were complimentary and we ordered another three because they were so good. Their Caesar saladwas the BEST I've ever had and I've had quite a few in my lifetime. Plenty to share and my wife had their cashew soup which wasvery tasty according to her. I ordered the special pork chop meal and my wife ordered the meatloaf and we both loved our meals.Their mashed potatoes were on point with potato skin which I love. The staff were very attentive making sure unused plates andglasses were removed from the table to ensure we didn't feel cluttered and the ambiance was perfect with the sounds of smoothjazz coming from the rafters and the smell of burning firewood. Wr finished our meal with a glass of champagne and theirchocolate dessert. I'm not a pudding fan, but this was on another level. Drinks were delicious and very strong! Staff were very nice and didn?t rush us at all. Food was great! We asked them to bring... everything in half so we can share. Meatloaf was awesome and chicken was were good too. Burger was ordinary to me. We satoutside and it was very nice. Read more
