Large helpings of delicious vegan Ethiopian food for very reasonable prices! The owner is very friendly and chill and the... ambiance is peaceful. If you have never had Ethiopian food before, it?s an experience you won?t want to miss! If you have had itand you like it, you?ve got to check this place out. If you like to eat plant-based foods and live in Columbus, definitely tryit! For anyone who tries to avoid animal-based products, it?s so nice that everything on the menu is vegan! Read more

These seems to be the typical pic that?s advertised for this place, but I think it?s a little misunderstood. This is the Tofu... Combo, and it?s not just a platter of a variety of different foods to choose from you simply eat with a fork. It?s a playhousefor your tastebuds! And it?s fun to eat! The rolls you see around the borders are rolls of bread called ?injera.? They feellike they?re fun, gelatin dessert rolls, but nope- it?s vegan bread!!! I was pleasantly surprised. Anyway, you tear offindividual pieces of these bread wraps and grip the ingredients with your fingertips. It?s like you customize every single bite! It?s seriously fantastic, and it was very fun. Even finishing the dish was satisfying, because it was like there was exactlyenough bread to match the ingredients, and it?s vegan, so there?s no ?bad Karma (=bad energy)? from any tortured while alive ordead animals. To be honest, I didn?t even know what I was eating except for the line of tofu and the bread, but I tell youwhat: I certainly enjoyed it! (P.S. They also have Chai Tea? and some other drinks and snacks that I might have been happy totry if I was into caffeine, but c?est la vie!) Read more

Really, really delicious. This was my first time having Ethiopian food and I have to say, I loved it so much I wanna have it in... my food staple rotation. The injera were like a spongy, sourdough pancake and addictive enough to eat without any of theentrees. And the entrees?incredibly well-seasoned and filling in a pleasant way. I got the red lentil and okra combo (sub thebeet medley since the veg money was gonna take a second) and it was delicious. Highly recommend Read more

The owner served as our host, waiter, chef, busser, and dishwasher. The love and passion he brought, not only to the food, but... also to each interaction at our table. It's clear that he is doing work that he loves and is good at! The food was on par withwhat I ate in Addis Ababa. If I lived in Columbus, I'd make this one of my regular haunts for both the delicious dishes and lovefelt in the establishment. Best of luck!! Read more
