Like a lot of places, they are dealing with staffing issues/shortages. Plan for the food to take a little longer than you might... expect, but it's worth it. Sometimes you just have a hankering for a Reuben. I have tried all Reuben sandwiches in Grand Rapids with mixed results, but... have never ordered from Mad Dog?s until today. HANDS DOWN THE BEST REUBEN IN TOWN! My order was delivered in less time thanthey projected. Side salad was an adequate size, and the Blue Cheese dressing was very good . Minor critique on their ThousandIsland dressing, as it had a weird cardboard taste, but all in all I was quite satisfied. Will be a repeat customer! Read more

The toppings were great, very flavorful, but for me a pizza is dependent upon having a good crust. Unfortunately these pizzas... did not have a good crust. Very dense and flavorless. If the crust had been even decent, I would have rated 5 stars. Read more

Their pizza has potential to be pretty good if they would make it (the way a person ask and pays for) We ordered DOUBLE BEEF... and were sad to get what was delivered. I counted out the pieces of beef 19 - so that being DOUBLE means they must only put 9.5pieces of beef on a regular medium pizza. There were so many pieces with no beef or only 1 piece of beef per slice. They seemto just be skimpy on toppings, sadly after you request and pay for extra... Mad Dog's idea of extra beef and mine are polaropposites... Other than that - pretty darn good pizza - I'd say one of the better pies we've found in the northern half of thestate - definitely probably in the top 10. Best pizza I have ever had. And I've had a lot. Fill of toppings and crispy well done crust. Like brick oven good.
