First time coming here was great..... but I had to come and edit this review to say this place is beyond AMAZING!!!!!!!!! I... booked it for 25 people last weekend. We were on the patio, the server did not miss a beat. He got everything down and was ontop of it serving 25+ people - the music was ON POINT!! and the manager (or owner) kept coming to check on us.. I reallyappreciated that very much. Drinks were great, food was great... everyone was so impressed by the service. AND they did NOTcharge me a cake cutting fee like most restaurants & I dropped off the cake 4hrs earlier for them to hold. That was VERYnice. ?Drunk Taco? is a good addition to the Michigan Ave scene. The space is great, especially the indoor/outdoor bar. Service was... good. This sounds like a contradiction, but prices were a little high per taco and yet they were overstuffed. They tasted good,but I would recommend putting less (especially sauce) in each taco so we can try more varieties! Also the jalapeño margaritawas way too spicy, and I?m usually leaning towards wanting MORE spice. While TB does nothing drastically wrong, it also doesn?tadd anything new to an already crowded taco scene in town. Read more
Taco Borracho is a FUN time! Love the food, drinks, service and overall vibe. Definitely feels like a bit of Chicago, which I... love! It?s a great addition to Michigan Street. For only being open since May, I think they?re doing a phenomenal job. It?stough during those first few months! Going to Taco Borracho was one step down from a religious experience. The salsa is *chefs kiss*, the tacos were unreal, and the... margaritas? I?ll get emotional just typing about them because they were so good. I got the prickly pear margarita & the bloodorange, and then for food - the chorizo taco, the al pastor, and then the potato one. The chorizo/fried egg one was hands downthe best taco I?ve had in my 26 years of life - so good that I didn?t manage to get a photo of it. The staff were so personableand welcoming, too! They did great for the first day. Had a long wait but it was well worth it in the end. The staff apologized profusely for being... out of certain items and checked on us often. I am excited to see what the future brings for this place, I plan to come backagain in the near future. Read more
Soft opening day. Job well done! The tacos and margaritas were delicious. The chocolate tres leches cake was fantastic. The service was great! Location on Michigan Avenue is great! Food and Atmosphere is great! Pretty Tasty! I ordered the... Impossible Taco (tasty vegan taco), Pollo Taco (good chicken taco) and Carne Molina Taco (least favorite as it was salty)! Myniece ordered Nachos con Carne Molina which she loved. The restaurant has a full bar area, overflow seating with outdoor patiodining area. They also have Salsa Fridays. When I come back in June, I will try that as I love salsa and bachata Latin dancing.?? Read more
