I wanted to go to a nicer place for dinner tonight with some family. A lot of restaurants were booked full or just didn't do... reservations/could have a long wait. I remembered that there was Sandy Point and checked their hours on Google and theirwebsite. Both said it was open. So I made a reservation through Sandy Point's website (which took me to Open Table) and I had noissues making a reservation for 7:30 pm tonight (11/30). We get there and it's closed. No sign on the door, no notice on thewebsite, nothing. This was frustrating especially since I was able to make a reservation?? If they do this to you, go across thestreet to Garage Bar and Grill. It's a different atmosphere but has great food and drinks. Oh and they're actually open whenthey say they are. Read more

Great food. Limited menu. No coke (or Pepsi) nice service. Had the fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised by the dozen... of tiny potatoes that came with it. Fish had a perfect crust and big flaky white meat. A little pricey but you get what youpay for. Hubby was happy with the burger and fries. Read more

Staff was friendly, atmosphere was nice. We sat outside and was seated immediately. Food presentation was ok, but flavor of food... was mediocre. We got the fish and chips and Ribye. Ribye was cooked to perfection, but the sauce it layed in was not so great. The rice batter on the fresh fish was undercooked, but the fried baby potatoes were ???? needed a bit more seasoning and perhapssome Malt vinegar options. I don't think we will be back here again unless the menu changes up. Thanks foe the friendly service!???? Read more

Excellent food menu both indoors and at the food trucks. Amazing staff and very talented bartenders. I absolutely recommend... trying to catch some live music on their patio. Read more

I have to start out this post saying that it’s probably been five 5+years since I’ve left any review on any business... anywhere. Just had a dish that was so good that i felt compelled to leave a review. I just moved to the area after 10 years inChicago. My wife and I dine out frequently and had been spoiled in a vast dining experiences. My wife and I stumbled upon thisrestaurant by chance this week. We were made aware there was a new chef and menu here. My wife ordered the wagu burger and Iordered the fish and chips. We weren’t expecting much as we were a late table and knew they were closing. What I found wassingle-handedly the best cut a fish I’ve ever had, period. Beautiful whitefish, leached in buttermilk, fried in rice flour andit was absolutely phenomenal. My wife had an equally memorable wagyu burger. Apparently there’s been a change in directionwith the menu and I can say we will be back, and will spread the word. Good things don’t stay a secret for long. also sickpatio for doggos*** Read more

To start with, the service was very good. The decor was not what we expected, based on other reviews, and the food was ok. The... price was slightly high compared to quality at about $65 for two people. Read more

What a surprising find! Highly recommend this relaxed, great vibe and exceptional drink and wine list (ask for your preferences... that are not on the menu). The seafood is exceptional and unexpected in the Midwest. We learned that the owner is also aninvestor in a seafood distribution company, and it noe all makes more sense. Mussels, Chowder, Sea Bass all exceptional (andmore choices that we have not tried). While it would be difficult to surpass food, our service by Paige did just that. Hercandor, attentiveness, infectious laugh and determination to ensure that we enjoyed ourselves and made a lasting memory, was onpar with the outstanding food and drink. The experience alone would have worth the drive from Chicago and back. Paige could notbe better, Sandy Pointe Beach House could not have pleased us more. Read more
