I'd like to make this zero stars. Had dinner at this Panera Bread in Grand Rapids, was very disappointed. We placed our order,... it came to $27.08. Gave the cashiers $30.08 they could not make change. One got out her phone, the other was using her fingersto figure out our change back. I said "change back is $3.00, all you need to do is count 27 up to 30, you get 3. They both gaveme a deer in the headlight confusion look and shock that I told them how to make change. Then our food arrived, my husbandordered a tuna sandwich, the slices of tomato and onions were both thicker individually and larger than the scoop of tuna on thesandwich. Wish I could post the picture I took of sandwich. Very disappointed, this is our first and last visit to thislocation. Staff needs more training on customer service, maintaining stock, food service and especially being able to count backsomething as simple as making change. Read more
This location is consistently a disaster. Food preparation care, restaurant cleanliness, but mainly timeliness. ?Rapid? pick-up... is ALWAYS late. Not by a couple minutes either? 20-30 minutes every time I order. We all understand that the lunch rush is abusy time for places like this. What isn?t understandable is providing pick-up times that are not even remotely close torealistic. If it?s going to be a 45 minute wait, fine? provide THAT! Don?t tell customers 10 minutes when that is only going toresult in 30 minutes of waiting and very dissatisfied customers. Panera, normally the Mac 'n Cheese with bacon is a family favorite, not so much this time. Awful fatty pieces of bacon... throughout this time, yuck! Not to mention I ordered ahead for rapid pickup but had to wait 20 additional minutes for foodorder. Read more
I also hate leaving negative reviews, but we?ve ordered at this location many many times, and it keeps getting worse not... better. Never see the same team member more than once, turn over is unusually high for a neighborhood place. Always have tocheck the order for missing or incorrect items. Driving back for missing dressing on salads is really frustrating. The staff infront is not the problem, the kitchen is totally unsupervised. Whoever owns this franchise needs to hire real managers, andtrain the young people working there that customers deserve quality effort. Read more
I ordered this Strawberry chicken salad ???? and I got it home and decided to worm the chicken up and it was stuck together so I... added some olive oil to the pan and it turned into a mush and it didn't taste good on top of that the salad was wet and soft andI hadn't even added the salad dressing yet... I hate leaving negative reviews, but I've given this location several tries, and it keeps getting worse not better. Small... things like customizations not followed, no spoons included for soup, extra dressing not included and the dressing received lessthan half full, etc. But the biggest problem is the wait time. It is not unusual for the rapid pick up orders to be 15 to 20minutes late. Today we were pushing 40 minutes late for a sandwich and a half and a bowl of soup. I know everyone is havingstaff issues, but that seems excessive. The food itself is quite good when you get it, but if this keeps up it may be time tofind a new lunch spot. Read more
I love Panera and I am a regular. This one in particular has the best food and service I've ever had. Delicious food, friendly,... fast and attentive service. Must give a shout out to Craig and Eric for their awesome service and making us laugh! Read more
I?ve been pretty disappointed in this place lately. Yes the food is always good. That why I keep coming back but the manager has... not been doing her job. She is very rude and does not make the customer happy. I should have taken her name but she has blondalmost white looks dyed hair with a lot of makeup. The 1st time I was in there they didn?t have what I wanted so I chosesomething else and the girl that rang me up said she put a little extra cookie in bag for trouble then that manager lady cameand took it out. Then I went in today and ordered my food 5 min before the next lady and the said to me it was sold to the ladythe just rang up even though that one was mine. The manager came up very mean and gave me my money back but offered no treat forthe trouble. The recipe shows the should. 2nd time they messed my order up and wouldn?t give me what I want with no sorry oranything to make things right. Horrible manager. She needs to learn better customer service. Make your customers happy fordealing with your mistakes. Read more
