Just picked up a GrubHub delivery here. One smoothie. They gave it to me with one of those no straw lids with the big gaping... hole. I asked if they had a closed lid or a sticker to cover it and explained that most restaurants wouldn?t want it so openfor health reasons. She and the other young lady behind the counter probably thought I couldn?t see their looks and laughs and?OK Boomer? vibes. But I caught it. Started off waiting 30 minutes to receive 2 açaí bowls, and there were 0 other customers. Presentation was great until I dug... in and took a bite, this was the most plain tasting açaí bowl I have ever had. Was supposed to be a peanut butter bowl, buttasted absolutely no peanut butter. The açaí itself had absolutely no flavor. There was maybe a 1/4 banana and a littlegranola in it, but it was mostly just frozen chunks of açaí. It took them a little long to make a smoothie but the quality was good. They are only open until 5pm, which seemed unusually... early. I mentioned it to the staff who said they had to cut back on hours and staffing during the pandemic , to save money.Wishit was open later at night. The building is clean and modern. I work downtown and have heard good things about this place so I decided to try it out. I ordered an 18oz Green Goddess with... protein powder. I did tip but it was $13 for a cup full of nothing! There was zero taste, I?m not even sure the protein powderwas added. I don?t think I care to try this place again but use your own judgement. Read more
