The breakfast at Leo?s is usually good, but when I received my blueberry pancakes, there were only a few blueberries plopped in... the center of the pancake. I showed my server, but there was no effort to remedy it. She shrugged and walked away. Read more
Nice Greek side salad, lamb gyro was yummy. We love their breakfast choices too.
My son and I ate at Leo's this afternoon. It's a ritual that whatever we're going to have there, be it breakfast or burgers, we... always start off with an order of their buffalo chicken wings. It's probably been a good 2 months since we ate there last butthe wings today were exceedingly disappointing. They should have been advertised as pigeon wings because instead of the big andmeaty wings we've had repeatedly in the past these were tiny, and for close to $10 exceedingly overpriced and disappointing. Inaddition they are normally well coated in buffalo sauce but this time there was hardly any. I will say we enjoyed our brunchthough, but the wing experience overshadowed it a bit. Took us 20 minutes to be served me and my boyfriend wasn't that happy about it the servers kept looking at us but never came... over when we where ready to order . It's our first time trying this place out.the food was really good. I got the beef stir fry but the beef was very dry and needs some flavor .and instead of warshire sauce on the side of the stir fry I wished they putsweet tangy sauce it would made it taste like stir fry . Visited here before heading to the airport on my way out of Michigan heading home. When I got there I say myself but noticed it... was busy but not too busy. Over heard some of the waitresses talking at each other (kind of funny in a way lol) yelling but notyelling lol. Anyways, I sat down and was immediately greeted by one of the waitresses who was an absolute sweetheart. (Olderthen me but not old African American lady whose name i cannot recall I wish I could because she was beautiful) I think she knewI wasn't from Michigan and asked if I needed more time to look over the menu, I did lol. She came back and of course I had tobe that guy with a bunch of questions about the waffles and even how big the oatmeal bowl was (look don't judge me. I was hungryokay..sheeeesh) She answered my questions and then took my order. (Yes I got the waffle, Two orders of toast, two eggs, 4sausage and a bowl of oatmeal. So what, again don't judge I'm fat.) Food came out faster then expected and let me tell you shenailed the description perfectly. Food was good, service was great! Got my check and paid. (I just hope she feels like I tippedwell enough for the service she provided) Moral of the story - Great food, Great people and next time I visit Grand Rapids Iwill be stopping by guaranteed. I cant say I've ever gone here but it was good. I got the gyro and it was tasty. A little salty for my taste but I understand... why beucase of how it's made. Great hot dog too. The waitress was nice also. Read more
