Admittedly, I have yet to dine in at this location of the Jolly Pumpkin (I've dined in in Traverse City). I have gotten take... out about 5x from this location. The food is wonderful and their portion sizes are large for the price (I recently added a sideorder of fries and it was much larger than I expected for $5). My son ordered the kids pepperoni pizza and had plenty forleftovers. I had the grain bowl and really enjoyed it, there was enough for both my husband and I to split (I just asked them todo double rice and no farro as I'm GF). Definitely would order from here again, and maybe dine in for a date night! Read more

I stopped in twice in the last week and sat at the bar both times. The bartenders were exceptional! They made good beer... recommendations based on my taste. I loved one of the beers I sampled, and ended up taking home a vintage bottle with me! Asfor the food, I loved The Perfect Fried Chicken Sandwich! The slaw and pickles are my favorite combination on a fried chickensando, and they nailed it. The dill pickle spear on the side had a good crunch and a nice spicy kick, and the curry chips werealso good. Update: The Pickle Pizza is also great! Read more

My first time trying JP. I'm on the fence. It's pretty expensive. $50 for two pizzas and some nachos. We picked up the food. The... best flavor was the South Pacific pizza. Flavors complimented each other beautifully. The Pprk Pig pizza was ok, but not great. The pizzas just seemed dry and chewy. We also got the Red Chicken Nachos. The sauce was bland, but the chicken had a goodflavor, but it didn't stand out. Overall, for the price, I wasn't impressed. Read more

I absolutely love the Jolly Pumpkin and any time I am in the area I make it a point to stop. Awesome selection of craft beers... and the food is equally as good. Staff are professional and helpful. We were looking for other breweries in the area that maynot be as well known and they suggested a few places to check out. Read more

Love the unique pizzas here (as well as the classics)! The pizza is Neapolitan style with a thinish chewy but crispy crust and... it?s just amazing. My favorite pizza is the Bridge Street Vegan (roasted balsamic veggies, hummus, and kale chips on top) and myhusband loves the South Pacific (candied pineapple, fresh jalapeño, black sesame seeds, pickled onion). Salads are also greattoo. There are just so many great options here and you can?t go wrong! And they always have seasonal cocktails which areamazing and well crafted. Read more

Overall, I liked the place itself, and most everyone seemed to have good food. It was just my plate, and the other fried... chicken sandwich plate that suffered. I would suggest that if you are a chicken person, absolutely do not order the friedchicken sandwich. The chicken was very dry and over fried, and the oil tasted old. The bun for the chicken sandwich, was not thesame as the soft bun they used for their burgers, what a bummer, instead they used a very dry and crumbly bun that was so dry itsoaked up all the dressings, making this the dryest chicken sandwich I think I've ever had. I'm not saying I won't give thisplace another try, but I am saying I won't ever give the chicken another chance, or anything that involves the fryer at thislocation. Read more

Halloween at Jolly Pumpkin???? They had a specialty menu for Halloween. They had a blackened ?dead sticks?, the crust has... charcoal powder in it. We got the ?truffle? and the ?fire and smoke? pizzas. Both were so tasty. Our absolute favorite pizzasare the ?south pacific? and the ?pickle? pizzas. For Halloween they had a vegan ube flavored cheesecake. It was very enjoyableand had an excellent texture. One piece of advice: I really wish they?d had something going on for Halloween that wasn?t foodbased. I was surprised how quiet it was at the time. We called in advance and was so excited to come by after being greeted by alovely person on the phone being so fun and lively. I figured if anywhere was going play up the spooky theme, it?d be JP. Weloved the food but was hoping for a bit more engagement for the holiday Read more
