Lets be real: its the BOB. So the party life is loud and booming. But also I was tipsy upon arrival, so ????. It was fun and... popping either way. Drinks were actually not priced outrageously and the music wasn't horrible. I would come again I suppose. Read more
I was here for a friend's wedding rehearsal dinner. The bartenders, food, atmosphere, etc were all pleasant, but my issue is... with the front door security/staff. I noticed some friends leaving, so I caught up with them in the front doorway to saygoodbye. When I tried going back in, the doorman stopped me and said to get to the back of the line and pay cover. At that pointin the night, they started charging cover and giving out wristbands at the door, which didn't exist for the rehearsaldinner. However, I had already been there for probably 2 hours at the private wedding party. The door man said "listen littleman, I am telling you to either get in the back of the line, or leave." I asked to speak with the manager, who would presumablyknow more about the wedding party. She came and said she would go "check the tapes" to confirm that I had been there since 6pm.The doormen rudely demanded that my girlfriend and I wait outdoors, and refused to speak with us any further. 20 minutes wentby, the manager never came back, and after seeing I wasn't being allowed back in, the rest of the wedding party and I all left.They ruined what was supposed to be a very happy night. Located inside The B.O.B., this venue is a great place to see local acts perform in an intimate setting. The sound is wonderful,... and I say that having been on both the stage performing and as an audience member. Plus, they have a dozen beers on tap fromBOBs Brewery, and I've always found their beers impressive. The best time to go is Thursdays at noon to catch the on airperformance broadcast live on WYCE. Part interview and part performance, it's a great place to grab an afternoon beer. Read more
Always a great place to have fun, It's a place worth visiting. There are multiple bars and floors to choose from.
