Enjoyed a delicious brunch here. Diverse menu, we had tacos and "impossible" migas. Vegetarian options are subbing in impossible... sausage or chrorizo for the normal stuff and was available on lots of dishes which really opened up the menu. Everything is so fresh and delicious. There's a really great vibe here in general. The owner has developed a really fantastic... set of items on the menu. My new favorite breakfast place in Grand Rapids! I?m SO glad they finally have a store front - I used to get their breakfast... tacos at the farmers market. Their food is top notch DELICIOUS. Exterior: The store is located in a relatively safe part of town with average parking. Their own lot is relatively small but... there is street parking available. The storefront is kept up nicely and is easily visible driving by. Entrance/lobby: Welldesigned with Lo-Fi music playing, the chairs are a little weak but the booths are very comfortable. They have a cute island inthe restaurant where you can refill water and grab extra sauces. Service: Exceptional service, they are one of the fewrestaurants where they actually remember my name and will use it in conversation with future visits. They are a little on thepricey side but definitely worth the visit. Food: The spicy ketchup is a must-have, it has just enough spice to make your mouthburn but not ruin the food. The breakfast burrito with either mole or carnitas tacos are absolutely insane. Always get the greenrice too, I wish I could order it by the pound. Final notes: Definitely equal or better than Wolfgang's for breakfast, it isconvenient that I can walk in at 8am and order lunch. 10/10 Read more
I was surprised how open this restaurant is. It?s a walk up window that you order from and they bring you your order. We got the... horchata (delicious), carnitas taco (melted in my seat it was so good), mommy dearest taco (perfect breakfast taco), Mac &quesadilla (full of richness and recommend with bacon) and a build your own taco. The staff was really friendly too! All in allI highly recommend to anyone in the area or stopping at the local shops and need a great place to eat. Read more
The word to describe this place is FRESH. Everything I ordered was made from scratch and I could tell. The limeade tasted like a... fresh squeezed juice and was extremely refreshing. The carnitas was bursting with flavor and with some of their homeade salsa(has some kick) it was delicious. The queso n mac was my favorite item I ordered, it was creamy with dry parmesan on top and hadthe perfect amount of queso. The executive was pretty good and reminded me of a breakfast burrito, except this was a breakfasttaco made with fresh ingredients which took it to a new level. The eggs were the star of the taco though and it was almost tooeggy for me. Each of the tacos were stuffed full and the value for this meal is comparable to all of GR. The staff were superfriendly and helpful as well, highly recommend this place. I'll be back to try more. Read more
I ordered from here on Uber Eats, based on a whim. I have never heard of this restaurant before. Let me say, if you are looking... for a breakfast burrito, this is the place to go! I ordered the breakfast burrito (of course) with real egg, real cheese, and mychoice of protein which was bacon. It also comes with scrambled eggs, cheese, hashbrown, cilantro-lime rice, and pico degallo. The outside of the tortilla is rolled in cheddar cheese and toasted as well, and it comes with a side of green sauce.Since I ordered from Uber Eats, I did not see the green sauce in the bag (it was included!), so I did not try it.
