The Breton location is severely in need up updates and someone to care about it. The bagels and coffee are good but everything... else has just been neglected. Some of the chairs have the stuffing torn apart, the restaurant is dingy and outdated, and thesigns for the seasonal specials rarely ever change. The spring specials sign was up all the way until this month. It just feelslike the owner of the Breton location has completely given up. Everything about it feels sad. The drip coffee is good but anyother drink is not worth the money. Unfortunately this is the only bagel shop in this part of town so the only positive is theconvenience of being on Breton and 28th. I would suggest the Michigan Street Bagel Beanery location or Terra Bagels over theBreton Location. Read more

Honestly a bit under impressed by the bagels. There was a sign mentioning the bagel machine was down (or something like that).... The bagels were on the smaller side, and the blueberry bagel tasted kind of like a grocery store bought bagel. Could be betterbut not bad I guess. Read more
I came on Sunday at 11:10 AM to order a dozen bagels they would not sell me the bagels they said I could have one, even though... their wall was full of bagels. and they were only open for another 110 minutes. I guess they thought it was prudent to upset meas a customer now rather than a customer later, who might not get a bagel. I?ve gone here for years and I will never go tothis business again. Ridiculous. Totally ruined the lunch I was planning with friends. So sad to be treated so poorly.
