So good!! The cheesy pickle appetizer is a MUST, it?s so delicious. The truffle fries are also bomb! We split the frog BLT and... were not disappointed. The staff was very attentive and they also had a great beer selection. Would definitely go back to trymore of the menu! Read more
They get a star for the ambiance - awesome in that sense. We ate here for dinner last night. All three dishes we had were... unfortunately awful. The risotto was salty and mushy, the beef tips were over cooked, scallops were horrendous, tuna curry dishwas atrocious. Hopefully their cook was just gone for the night. Read more
The Toasted Frog came highly recommended by a server in another restaurant. I'm so glad we chose to come here for our last... dinner in Grand Forks. The atmosphere is fun, the food is delicious and the bar menu is phenomenal. Our server( Dave?) waspatient, knowledgeable and friendly. I was a first time visitor today. I had the best meal and dessert I?ve had in years. Easily in my top three of best meals I?ve... ever had at a restaurant. The Italian sausage pizza, the truffle fries, the jerk chicken, the chocolate cake for dessert - allincredible. Wow! So impressed. THANK YOU! Was one of the best restaurants in GFK, loved it 10 years ago. The food quality is very good then and the dishes are amazing.... Came back again and ordered a walleye dish. The food is still very tasty but the sugar peas coming with it is too old to chew.Talk to the waitress and got an apology and that's it. I remember the service being better for mistake like this before.Disappointed at the food quality control. Hope they are not too famous to focus on what makes a good restaurant. Read more
They had swordfish as a special tonight and it was moist and delicious with the perfect amount of char. Wasabi mashed potatoes... were phenomenal and the truffle fries are to die for. I also had a drink called the O.C. and creme Brulee for dessert. Read more
