Awesomeness! First off the Hostess walked us to our table carrying a small basket of freshly baked, hot buns! amazing - saw them... do that for Every? guest. Nice touch. I had the half rack of ribs - but they didn't have baked beans as a side?? oh well theChili bowl was wayyyyy better than expected! Wife got a Steak (pic) - and it was cooked exactly how she requested - best steakI've tried in years....Also added a side of Shrimp and they were NOT rubber!! Good job, so dissapointing when restaurants don'tknow how to order fresh shrimp or cook it correctly. Garlicy Smashed potatoes and a "loaded" baked potato (onions, bacon, sourcream) rounded out our meals, and out takeaway box. Wish I'd let room for dessert. It might be a chain running from Anchorage, AK to Augusta,ME but it’s worth it simply because their sweet rolls are THE best. I don’t give 5 star reviews often but the rolls get the5th star for me. They are light, fluffy, chewy, sweet, come warm with sweet butter. And Every time I ask with guilt for a 2ndbasket they are kind to give it and of course I take 3-4 rolls home because they are so good. I’m glad the rolls and food aremade pretty much the same in most states as I travel a lot. The only things I was a bit miffed about: I sat right in front ofthe waiter for a good 20 minutes with nothing but my silverware and drink before I asked him politely for a basket of rolls. Iguess maybe at this Grand Forks location I have to ask? Not sure but usually they bring it to the table for starters. Then i wasasked by a nice female manager (?) who was running around making sure everyone had everything they needed and she asked if Ineeded anything and I told her I was waiting for rolls I just asked for after 20 minutes of sitting here. She was very nice andattentive the whole time. She was the one to ask most of the time if I needed anything throughout the meal and not my waiter whowasn’t inundated with customers. It was pretty late when I went. So the 5 stars is for her great service and kindness andfriendliness and for the waiter giving me the extra rolls at the end. The 8oz salmon and shrimp appetizer were a bit salty but Iwashed it down with the rolls. The best thing in the world. The chili is always good with quality beef with little fat and justenough cumin and the fresh onions and cheese makes it hit the spot. I would not recommend this place. I placed a carryout order today and when the food arrived the steaks were severely burned. ... This is the second time this has occurred with this establishment. I brought this to the attention of the manager and he cameacross as though he didn't care. While waiting for replacement steaks, I observed one of the workers bringing someone's orderto the carryout area. Another worker opened one of the containers and that food was burned as well. After checking the foodshe still gave the customer that burned steak and ribs. That's ridiculous! I will never go back to this place. They couldcare less about their customers experience. Read more

Was OK. Steaks a bit spendy, not sure why. Was good though. Our mashed potatoes were missing the butter and sour cream.... Customer service was pretty good though. Bill was over 75, for 2 dinners and 2 beers. Read more
Came here from Winnipeg, MB. Was a great steak very juicy, cooked to absolute perfection. I really like how the meat is on... display when you walk in the restaurant it looks all very fresh and good quality. The only negative about the meal was the sidesare fairly small, and they also added something to my order that we didn't ask for. They were considerate and removed theunwanted item from the bill.
