Went thru the Sonic D/T on S Washington Drive in Grand Forks ND. I was excited to try it as I hadn't had Sonic in a very long... time. My fries were Cold- Soggy and tasteless and placed sideways in the bag falling out all over the inside of the bag. Whilewaiting for our order we observed a staff member leaning against a light standard along the D/T Lane wearing a Headset andsmoking in their Sonic Uniform. This looks extremely unprofessional and tacky and does not create a good image for yourrestaurant or brand. My burger was OK and my fiance's Chicken Sandwich was underwhelming. 90% of the time will not even listen to what the order is. I understand being short staffed but the bare minimum is hearing the... correct order and punching it in right. Will interrupt while ordering in the drive thru (i.e. "Can I get a number 2 withouttomat-" "fries or tots" "fries, no tomato on the burger" "drink?"). Terrible customer service, and I WORK customer service sothis blows my mind. If I want Sonic I'll save it for a Fargo trip bc yikes. Read more
I?m never going to Sonic again. Went there today and ordered 2 burgers, a chicken sandwich, an Oreo ice cream, a breakfast... burrito and 2 fries. First of all, I only got 1 fry and they were almost cold, then one of the burgers ordered was supposed tohave jalapeño with ketchup and mustard but I got a burger with fried pickles and mayo, the chicken sandwich was barely evenslider size and the burrito was smaller than any burrito I?ve ever seen and both were over $3, and then lastly the Oreo blasthad almost no Oreo, wasn?t mixed, and tasted only of vanilla ice cream. When I called to complain about my experience I wasinterrupted multiple times, given sarcastic responses, and was at first told that I couldn?t get a refund for the 2 items thatwere missing or incorrect. The employee was disrespectful plain and simple and the people who work there apparently need to betrained better if they forget items or make a burger entirely wrong. Read more
Went inside for lunch with the wife. Waited inside for 5 min before anyone acknowledged us, probably due to the manager yelling... at an employee. She also told us they were doing drive thru only. No longer going back. Read more
Burger tastes like a dirty grill and the bacon was way over cooked. The lettuce was old and soggy. Never coming here again.
This review is for Canadians who haven't tried Sonic yet. Just tried Sonic for the first time in my life, went twice for drinks... and once for breakfast. If you are visiting the states from Canada, this seems to be an excellent stop for drinks and toexperience the drive-in style menu/parking/service. It was much preferred to a typical drive-thru. The drinks come with thoselittle round slushy ice cubes, which I think are great. The diet (cherry) limeades were awesome, I'll try the iced teas withfruit infusions next time. For breakfast I tried an ultimate meat and cheese burrito, which was probably the best breakfastburrito I've had at a fast food place (but, coming from Canada, my breakfast burrito experiences are limited). It was loadedwith tasty bacon and sausage. The salsa went nice on the burrito. I also had the 3 piece (3 is enough for a taste) CinnabonCinnasnacks, which were heavenly. If you are visiting from Canada, don't miss these sweet, fried, tasty treats. Read more
Friendly staff at this location, service us fast but takes longer on large orders. Staff takes responsibility for mistakes and... will quickly fix it for you. Always a great visit for ice cream with 1/2 priced shakes after 8pm Read more
Ate at a Sonice once like 15 years ago and only got a hotdog. Decided to try it again and we got bbq wings, buffalo wings, tots,... jalapeño poppers and cherry lime aid.... all amazing. They wings were the biggest surprise you got a lot for your buck and theBBQ sauce was fabulous. Cherry lime aid did not disappoint. We have decided when we are in town this is our stop. Read more
