Reviews for Paradiso Mexican Restaurant Grand Forks in Grand Forks, ND
Driving through, this was a must-stop and it did not disappoint! I picked up a chicken burrito and it was as delicious as I... remembered from my last visit, many years ago! Highly recommend, and will be back the next time I?m in the city! Read more
Someone from the restaurant commented on my one star and asked for more details as to why. I find that interesting because we... had the manager come to our table to try to make it better and he didn't. He told us regarding the quality of our meal that heactually plated the meal and that's the way it is. He then brushed us off, gave us the bill and left. That is the worstexperience I have ever been thru. I would tell anyone to go to the Fargo location only. In fact, I pressed one star only becauseI had to select one. So the follow up reply from the restaurant was as follows : "We have all the details we need regardingyour meal yesterday. Thank you and have a good weekend." Note their offer the first time in their reply: "how can they make itbetter" What would any customer take away from that reply? That they do not care. So why eat at a place that they don't careabout you the paying customer. Read more
I ordered a chimichanga and the waitress never asked me what kind of meat I wanted in it so I got some sort of ground beef. The... beef was dry and gritty feeling and really didn't taste very good. My daughter ordered some sort of seafood taco that wassupposed to have lobster in it. All we were able to find were a few things that looked and tasted like imitation crab and acouple of pieces of shrimp. My Daughter didn't eat most of her's. She said it didn't taste very good. It's been several yearssince I've been to this place as they had terrible customer service last time I was there. Maybe I'll give it a few more yearsand try again but I doubt it. Read more
The restaurant was clean.the staff was friendly and the food was same quality as its been for years ..
Lots of menu options, huge portions & very tasty! Can't complain. Would definitely recommend if you're craving Mexican... food. FYI, being from Canada... if you order a buritto to go & take it home then refridgerate. Heat it the next day in the ovenat 400° for about 9mins... tastes just as f'n awesome! Not sure about other menu items, but its always nice to bring somethingback to savor the taste as we don't have a Paradiso locally. Read more

We waited for over 5 years to come back to this restaurant and it was awesome!! Our server Maddie was the best ever and she was... busy!! We had drinks, and the chips, salsa and queso!! I ordered the 2 beef enchiladas and my husband had the super burrito andit?s still the best food ever!! Once we moved back to Manitoba I said we had to come back and the fact we did before Xmas wasthe best decision ever lol especially with the new Covid varient out!! But we talked to Maddie for a bit and I have nothing butgood things to say, she was the best server we had in like 2 years!! She goes above and beyond, very attentive and she?s supersweet!! Just wish servers here got paid more then 4$/hr!! Cuz she worked very hard and deserves more!! Please tip ur serverappropriately people cuz the food isn?t that expensive plus it?s huge portions!! Paradiso has been a favorite for my whole family our entire lives. It's very popular in Grand Forks, yet never seems to have... much of a wait if any wait at all. The seating is comfortable with mostly tables and chairs. Chips and salsa are complimentary. The salsa is a perfect flavor for casually enjoying before a meal. Not too spicy, but with just a little kick. The wait staffhas always been amazing and I really can't ever remember a time when I've had an issue. The food is reasonably priced and alwayscomes out hot. The fried ice cream is delicious. With tons of parking and a great atmosphere it's hard not to keep coming backto Paradiso. Read more
