Reviews for Ely's Ivy in Grand Forks, ND
I'm on an incredibly strict diet. Think vegan but with half the normal spices that makes food yummy. So, it's difficult to find... restaurants that I can eat at. Ely's Ivy miraculously not only had food for me that was fantastic, but had food for my lessrestricted family would be willing to eat. I had the arugula salad and almost cried. It was so good. My sister had a die forpumpkin curry soup, my father tried a Camel ???? burger, and my uncle (the fussiest of all of us) had a Shepard pie. Everythingwas amazing. The server went above and beyond the call if duty for us. He was pleasant and sweet and even found out where the???? meat came from without us asking. He was perfect for my little eccentric family. When I'm in Grand Forks again, I'm makinga stop here for sure ???? Read more
Nice atmosphere. There is a full bar as well. The service has always been excellent. I recommend trying the frog legs. The... batter is delicious. It's like the best fried chicken you've ever had, but it's frog. The muscles are great as well. The wifeand I both have them a 10 out of 10. Read more
I'm not sure they do catering regularly, so I hope I don't disappoint too many people when I say how incredible it was for them... to cater our wedding. We got married at the 1908 house in Hatton, and there aren't a ton of options nearby. We wantedfarm-to-table and locally sourced ingredients, and that's just what we got with Ely's Ivy. Scott was AMAZING to work with andmade our dream of having delicious food come true. All of our guests said it was the best walleye they'd ever had. Everythingwas fresh, and all of our guests were full! My only regret was not saving myself a plate for later when the nerves/excitementwore off and I could actually enjoy my food. Thank you again, Ely's Ivy! Read more

My family went to Ely’s Ivy yesterday for the first time. We were visiting Grand Forks and found the restaurant online. We... were blown away with the service and quality; the server, Grace, was wonderful and we all loved our meals! Everything was sofresh and flavorful, the menu has unique offerings, and the establishment is beautiful. There are many quaint details in thedecor and the ambiance is great. We will definitely return and are glad we found this gem of a restaurant; it’s up there astop tier of Grand Forks! In a town full of sports bars and college haunts, this is a place that soars far above the burgers andchicken wings realm. (Side note: They have good merch for sale, including an embroidered hat for $10!) Read more
The atmosphere was beautiful and inviting! We started with the pickle dip as an appetizer and it was amazing! Packed with flavor... and included fresh veg! They also have a full bar and made a killer lemon drop martini! We got the Reuben with pommes paillassonfor the side! There was Irish music playing and cultural dishes to match! Portions were large, prices were great, and Staff wasfriendly! We will certainly be returning when in Grand Forks! Read more
