I cannot recommend Captains Club at Woodfield enough! We booked them a year in advance and they were awesome at staying in... contact with us to help on top of things. They were always available to talk and run ideas by them. They were so accommodatingand fit every need we requested. On the day of, Allison and Hunter were there to making everything run smoothly. Typically this is one of my favorite places in mid-Michigan to golf. We went on the weekend it was not very busy however the... greens have seen better days. Overall I would still say it is definitely the best place for the money for anywhere around here. Read more

My wife and I had an incredible wedding at Captain's Club. Working with Captain's Club's Event Coordinators (Allison and Hunter)... to manage our wedding was a breeze. They were always right on top of things and answered any question that my wife and I had.The food was great and was brought to our guest tables super quick. On top of that, the bartender made sure I had a drink in myhand at all times. All in all, my wife and I are incredibly happy with the work that Captain's Club put in to make our weddingunforgettable. i should have taken pictures. a lot of the tee boxes had no grass on them. the course is in rough shape. not a $40 weekday... course. i played on $30 ones way better shape. greens we dead. had weeds growing in the greens. never seen a dump that cost somuch. only positive is they had electric golf carts Read more

Played captains today. Usually great place. Today was hot, no beverage cart available, that was a bummer! Everything very dry... and hard. Tee boxes and greens very beat up. Play everyday on courses in the area, this course was in the worst shape by far.For $50 I?d go to Tyrone hills, coyote preserve or fenton farms. Much better shape and do have beverage cart. The greens were perfect besides some birds on one of the greens didn'tmove. All good play through.. 2. Atmosphere ???? This did not get a 5 star because I'm a golfer that loves to see golf coursesin nature, cut out of history, and not necessary into who has the.. Nope, I'm out. Not giving the pleasure.
