I've been there twice, the second time giving them the benefit of the doubt from the first time. The food is ok at best, nothing... I'd travel more than 5 minutes for, they try too hard to make it complex and it lacks flavor. The service is less thanappetizing. The staff has always been rude, making customers feel as if they should bow in the presence of greatness, numerouspeople I work with state the same. If the staff were better (friendlier) I'd probably eat there again. Most eat there just dueto convenience, same with myself, there isn't much in town. Spending over $20 for a Hot Dog with fries and a soda is a littletoo pricey. This will be the last time I eat at this establishment. Read more
We ordered the beef/lamb gyro with house made chips.~ so totally fresh and delicious! The tzatzki was thick and dilly and the... vegetables cold and crispy on nicely browned meat. First time eating at Deep Roots Street Food. We ordered the beef and lamb gyro. All of the ingredients were fresh, from the... meat, to the pita bread, lettuce, tomato, feta, onion, herbs and the tiziki sauce. The home made chips were great too! The gluten free sour dough was the best part in these pictures. The portion was a bit weak for the rather high price of a... grilled cheese. The amount of pulled pork on it was skimpy. I ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese and it was prettyflavorless. It was a good portion but the pasta hardly had any cheese on it until you got to the bottom. This is such a gem of a place! Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and the place was not crowded. Food was delivered promptly. We... had the Turkish Berliner wrap, Chicken Pot Pie soup, Spanakopita, and Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese. Everything was delicious andvery reasonably priced.
