Minimalist with high ceilings and plants. Paper straws and calm ambient playing Cafe Yen is very cozy and feels like a safe... space for a mind searching for calm. They have regulars and this is probably due to the accountability of service and deliciousfood. They serve coffee and tea. The tea is reishi which is beneficial to health and it tastes lovely. A friend recommended to stopbt imitated a real NYC latte experience. She was correct. 5 stars on my coffee. Didn't get anything... to eat this time round but the bagles and treats looked good from what I saw. I even had a second latte. I enjoyed sittingoutside under their umbrella this fine day. I would love to sit indoors one winter day, it looks cozy. I only wish they hadlonger hours because it would be a great 'spot' to mingle and sip coffee all day. The ambiance is accompanied by indie music, high ceilings, and many placesto sit. You can study, catch up with friends, or pick up a cappuccino to go. The crew is chill and friendly, reasonable andaccommodating. They present house made syrups over ?Monin? bottle pump syrups, which to me is a plus and also serve a varietyof pastries.
