The pizza we got was not delicious in any way. The dough was so thin there were spots where I was just eating cheese. And the... dough that was there was charred black. I will say though the staff was very friendly when I went in to pick it up. I did notfeel this pizza was worth the price Read more

It pains me to write this review, as I know how hard it is for small businesses, but sometimes things need to be known. I... ordered a cheese pizza and Stromboli for delivery at/or around 7:20 PM last Friday. After an hour, I called to get status. Wastold the driver had left and come back to the restaurant because he forgot the Stromboli. At 8:45 PM, still no pizza, I calledagain to get status. No answer, no answering machine. I called a few more time to no avail. Finally, at 5 minutes to 9:00PM, Iget a call from the front desk (stayed at a hotel that night), that my pizza had arrived. When I got to the front desk, thedelivery person was gone, pizza was there. The pizza was cold, and inedible. Might have been good, but I cannot say that. Infact, the cheese had congealed to the foil it was placed on, so any attempt to get a slice of pizza, came with foil. TheStromboli was nothing more than French bread, with some cheese sprinkled on top, a couple slices of peperoni, and of coursecold, and inedible. See photo. This was not cheap pizza, and my son and I waited for quite some time, and we came away hungryand bewildered. Had someone taken my call (s), and maybe apologized, I would not have written this negative review. I aminterested to hear a response, as someone generally responds to these posts. My hope is that your communication to yourcustomers will be better, and your service will be more timely. I ordered your pizza with great anticipation, but instead, Ireceived nothing for my money paid over the phone, except regret. Read more

I was really excited to order the Chicago style pizza, and ordered pepperoni and pineapple. Got home and started eating it, but... discovered that they hadn't actually put the pineapple on, even though we had paid for it and had tipped accordingly. When wecalled, we weren't asking for a full refund or even a discount, (which a lot of places would probably offer) just a refund forthe missing topping that we'd paid for. They would not discount (or remake the pizza, which would include waiting for anotherhour), unless we brought the entire thing back in to show that there was no pineapple on it. We live across town and by thattime we were putting kids to bed and it didn't make sense to drive all the way back over for something that was clearly THEIRmistake, with no real benefit to us except still not getting the pizza that we ordered originally. It seems like they would wantto be accommodating if they made the error. Read more

if i could give this place a 0 i would. i called and asked for their largest pizza, JUST pepperoni for delivery. i waited 2... hours and nothing ever showed. they called me back and said ?they never marked it out for delivery? and so we had to go pick itup after paying for a delivery charge. they didn?t remake a pizza for us AND they gave us the wrongest pizza they could andeverything was cold and unpleasant. i would save your money and go to another place. Very disappointing. I checked my pizza while there and 1/2 the cheese and toppings had slid to the one side. They offered to... make a new one bit didn't want to wait so I just had them 'fix' it. Brought it home and discovered the dough was well undercooked and missing the sausage I had ordered. Was also concerning because I didn't see anyone that appeared to be over 16years old working there. Definitely has changed over the last few years and would unfortunately not go back. Read more

Massimo's Pizzeria has gone downhill quite fast in the past several years. This place use to have the best dough around, it was... fluffy and full of flavor. They used to use so much cheese that you felt it after hours of eating pizza. Not the caseanymore. The dough is no longer fluffy, and it lacks any flavor. Perhaps they don't proof it enough. They skimp on ingredients. You expect a quality product for the cost. The past three times they have over estimated the amount of time the pizza would beready by. The pizza often sits in the oven when you arrive by. They should consider calling back if the pizza is ready beforethe estimated time. Before you could grab a slice and the cheese would stretch from being pulled, now the cheese is oftencongealed when getting a slice. The past three times I have asked to have my pizza square cut, and each time they cut it intotriangle slices. They even realize their mistake because they see it on the receipt. The last time they offered to remake thepizza, but I'm not going to wait an additional 40+ minutes for pizza. This place was great when it used to be Bruno's and thenwas still great when it first became Massimo's. The previous worker was an older gentlemen who really knew how to make a pie.You knew when you were having a pizza, due to the taste of the dough and the amount of cheese you would get in eachslice. Nowadays they have teens working the kitchen, who probably don't have the experience necessary to make a good pizza. Thiswas our go to place for many years. I would order anything from them it would feel like grandmas' cooking from a long ago. I hadhoped they would turn it around and bring back the pizza that was bursting with flavor, but that is not the case. For now I willhave to venture out and hopefully try other local places to find a great pie. Read more

I really am glad this pizza parlor is right in the neighborhood. Unfortunately... They started out with free delivery and they... were very generous with the toppings. The prices were lower as well. Then they decided to charge for delivery $3.50 and theyupdated their prices on each size of pizza by $2.00. I will say I wasn?t happy about that. I can say that the staff is veryvery nice. Other than that, the pizza arrives hot, you can take a slice right out the box and not have to put it in themicrowave to heat it up. The quality is present, the pizza is gooey and cheesy and it does taste good like an Italian pizzashould. Far as pricing, you get what you pay for! They do offer a rewards card they punch after 10 orders you get a free 2topping 16? free! Read more
