The person taking my order at the drive thru was rude. Asking me multiple times for what I wanted to order and cutting me off... when I was repeating my order. Her voice tone saying "tell me when you're ready" without greeting me, "what else?" when I wasjust making a pause... Once I got to the window I could see one of the employees wearing a headset was using her cell phone, Idon't know for sure if this was the same person taking my order but it would explain why she had to keep asking about theorder. The person who took my payment and gave me the food seemed to get annoyed when I checked my food was correct and askedfor the cilantro sauce (which comes with me meal and I have learned the hard way that if I don't ask for it, the sauce doesn'tmake it to my bag.) I asked her to please give me the sauce and some pico salsa and tried giving her the baggie full of greensalsas (that I didn't ask for) back. She rolled her eyes and went to get them. When she gave me the slasas I requested she askedfor the other ones (earlier when I offered them back she left me there with my arm extended). I gave them back the salsas andshe tossed them across the room to what I hope was a trash can. There was no long line at the drive thru and the lobby lookedempty, hardly any cars at the parking lot. The constant bad service I receive at this location has made me decide to not comeback. I love the food, so I will continue to eat Pollo Loco, just not from here. Read more
Served Someone Else's Half-Eaten Salad, Accused of Lying, and Not Refunded. Pollo Loco on McDowell in Goodyear deserves 0... stars. Drive-Thru served me someone else's half eaten salad. I immediately pulled back around and there was no line so in lessthan a minute I was back at the window. Showed the cashier what she'd served me, she said, "So? We won't refund you." Ana the"manager" was rude and accused me of lying. The receipt was in the bag proving that I'd just been there. She said she'd give mea refund, but I never got it. Can't believe I got charged for someone else's half eaten salad, told I was lying, and neverrefunded. I'll never eat here again. UPDATE: Contacted that site from the reply and they did nothing to fix this and didn'teven offer to refund me. I had to go through my bank. Read more
I had a better experience at this location compared with other el Pollo Loco locations. Our food came out fast and was hot and... tasty. I think the person taking our order was having a bad day, but seemed to mellow out a bit later. Read more
Absolutely terrible. Got the 8pc family meal ?feast? and ordered a cheese quesadilla for the kiddos. Not only were we shorted... the quesadilla AND a piece of chicken, the salad was wilted, the chicken that we did get was mangled, tiny, and over cooked, andthe server was having a bad day (because she was being mean).
