Gonzales definitely needed a cool little place like this. The owner and staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. The beer... selection is great and never boring. This has become my main watering hole whenever I'm back in my hometown. Read more

Arrived early to the place, 30 minutes after they opened, only people there was the 1 bar tender and my group. It was very cold... inside the venue . The food vendor was supposed to be there at 5 but didn't arrive until almost 6. We were very hungry. Thebeers were okay for my taste. Read more

After spending the day pedaling around River Road, we were in the mood for a beer. We'd passed by Fourth Street Tap House... earlier in the day and made a mental bookmark. Parking was easy and free. We had our dog with us, so my husband popped inside tofind out if they were pet-friendly. He came back beaming, "Yes, they love animals in there," he said. It's a contemporary decorinside, one big room, with trattoria chairs, grey stained-wood floors and tables, and banket seating, dimly lit, two big-screenTVs behind the bar. I wasn't sure how we'd be received, seeing as how we stuck out as out-of-towners in our pedaling gear. Mostof the seats at the bar were full, and folk couldn't have been friendlier, many of them turning to smile or say hi. Not anegative vibe in the place. And - saving the best for last - they had 28 microbrews on tap! Arranged from lowest abv to highest. The bar tender offered samples almost immediately. Fourth Street Tap House is deserving of five stars, beyond a doubt! Read more
