We had stopped going here due to multiple issues with the service. After hearing that they were under new management, we decided... to give them another try. The food was really good but the service was severely lacking - still. The waitress was very nice butshe never came back to our table after taking our food order. My wife had to go from our table to the bar to ask for drinkrefills. All this time, our waitress and several other workers there were sitting at the bar talking and looking at their cellphones. It was mid afternoon on a Saturday and we were the only people there! Four workers sitting around doing nothing and theycouldn't take care of their only customer? Our dirty dishes stayed on the table while we finished our last drink. Nobody evencame to check on us. Friendly and good menu selection. Pretty building inside. Seasoning was a little... strange, or at least certainly not what I... was expecting nor accustomed to. 3 different entrées had the same kind of taste. We stop by after leaving the Austin area headed to Corpus Christi, and what a great surprise! Excellent food and service, plus... the coffee was very hot. The tacos are huge; on homemade corn tortillas ??? and fairly priced! In my opinion, it?s worth makinga Sunday drive just to come out here and eat! Junior loves it here too! This place has a great taste! OilField fellas get your high protein with a large molcajete filled with beef chicken fajita,... shrimp, and fish fillets and what?s best, topped with an incredible variety of vegetables that compliment the molcajete in anawesome way the nopales for example. It is served along with hand made tortillas, frijoles rancheros that are not fromyesterday and not salty. The golden yellow rice is just like grandmas. The salsas are spicy and freshly made. Read more
