Got the sunrise brekkie Buddha bowl. Very impressed with the quantity and quality of the food. In total we got two bowls and a... smoothie and it came to $44. A little steep but the ingredients are very fresh in the restaurant is lovely. It was a pretty longwait, about 20 minutes. I played the uke while we waited (nice touch). They have some cool merch for sale. It's located on themain drag in Golden, so it's nice to sit streetside and watch the town go by. Would highly recommended this place. Read more
So after breakfast and walking around a bit I wanted something to enjoy and combat the heat, I noticed Kona Bowls on my way to... the river and stopped on way back, it's a pretty busy spot; the staff are young ladies maybe tad inexperienced but you cantell they put forth the effort to provide great customer service. After receiving my smoothie I read other reviews, somementioning the lack of sweetness. While the smoothie is not sweet my understanding is acai bowls life is meant to be healthyalternatives not sweet tooth offerings; expecting sugary offerings would be similar a vegan expecting to be catered to at asteakhouse restaurant. The lady that took my order did ask a few questions since I asked what she would recommend. AS soon asshe provided her recommendation I decided on dragon fruit smoothie I realized the photos of the smoothie bowls looked quite tempting . Anyways I ordered and enjoyed my smoothie , it was not overly sweet as I had mentioned didn't want something toosweet to which dragin fruit was the recommendation so that was good. The flavor does taste natural as indicated; simply frozenfruits . The only thing whether it is due to lack of experience or otherwise would use a bit more "Aloha" from greeting uponentering until departure. Aloha is genuine welcoming your customers and ridding oneself of any prejudices one may have toexemplify the true aloha spirit. Anyways, the location is nicely decorated it was $10 and change for a smoothie. While it maySeem a tad steep they use natural ingredients; it's Golden and we're in Colorado so somewhat to be expected. Read more
Good healthy foods a little pricy though for two it was $50. The salads had it all but a bit much for the average traveler... looking for food. $10 smoothies but I would buy one again. Very good and clean eating foods. Over all a great experiencefriendly staff and bright place to relax. Read more

Kona Bowls for the win! ???? I feel like I?m sitting just off the beach in SoCal or Hawaii in the center of Golden. Surfing on... TV and Jack Johnson on the radio - I could spend all day in here! Whether I?m looking for a smoothie, an açaí bowl, or thebest avocado toast West of the Mississippi, Kona is my go-to for healthy delicious food. 1/5 stars: This was the 1st time we ate here and probably the last. We paid for pretty much advocato mashed on toast that was... not even toasted all the way. My smoothie sat on the counter for atleast 10 minutes before we got our food and we waited a totalof 25 minutes. We were not told anything about how long it would take. Being vegan is so hard to eat here because there's noflavor at all.... Thanks for the balsamic and lemon flavored no pesto, supposed to have pesto toast with a lot ofavocado. $24....no thanks... Update: 3/5 stars The feedback team is/was very understanding of our feedback and critique onservice. I appreciate Alissa M. for her appreciation and understanding of our experience. Overall the food was fresh and tastyso I updated the rating to a 3 star just based on the aftercare and freshness of everything. This restaurant is absolutely amazing. You walk in and are treated with smiling faces and warm welcomes. I?m confident to say I... eat here almost everyday. The food is always photo perfect and delicious. They take the time to make sure you are getting wellmade food that tastes and looks amazing. I love that they offer online ordering it helps when there?s a lunch rush and when I?min a rush. Everyone that works behind that counter does a great job and you can tell how hard they are working.
