There are multiple El Tapatios in the Denver area, but sadly despite the great view and location of this one, the quality of... food just doesn't compare to the others. If you have a chance, go to El Tejado on South Broadway, it's owned by the same familyand it's fantastic. Read more

Not good at all. Friendly staff but horrible food. My ?burrito? came in a puddle of soup(?!). I have no idea what this was... supposed to be but it required a spoon. I regret even trying because I?ve spent my last vacation day in the bathroom. Read more
Great spot right next to the climbing gym. Service was great. Got the Tapatio Marg (Small) and it was well balanced. The servers... seem trained to go for the subtle up-charge by presenting the sizes in order of Medium, Small, or Large rather than the logicalsizing order. Friendly reminder that a larger size margarita does NOT mean more alcohol unless it's explicitly stated that ithas more alcohol or that it's a double. My partner got the Medium, and it was WAY too sweet. Lots of food options. We got themolcajete (chicken and steak), which has a ton of food, but the sauce wasn't as flavorful and was bit more watery than someother places. Still delicious though.
