We had a chance to eat at this incredible restaurant in downtown Golden. The main dish with the porcini mushrooms and the shells... with hazelnuts and currents was remarkably delicious. There is an option where you can add confit duck to it which I wouldhighly recommend! Our waiter was just about perfect. I asked him which wine by the glass would go well with the duck and hemade a pretty outstanding recommendation. As an appetizer, the eggplant on the bread was OK but not as amazing as everythingelse. Love this place! They open on a night they are normally closed for my bosses birthday. My family comes in from time to time just... ourselves as well. The staff is great and the atmosphere is perfect. Portions are also big enough to have lunch the next day. Ihighly recommend visiting this establishment for some good authentic Italian food! Oxtail sweet potato gnocchi was absolutely delicious. Lasagna was alright. Tiramisu was good. Service was amazing! Overall, it... was good but a bit overpriced in my opinion. We spent a lot for a bread appetizer, two entrees, dessert, and a cheap bottle ofwine and it for the price point (about $120 before tip) I wasn't blown away. Read more
