Need to give this place the highest stars!! Absolutely amazing burgers!! I got Grizzly one with Garlic mashed potatoes. The soup... is incredible! Meaty and delicious! The owner is so nice and friendly, took care of us very well! Recommend Red Ale! Theportions are big and so much needed after the days full of hiking trails. The interior deserves to be mentioned. Wolf and cougaron the wall. Many little trinkets make the place so cozy! Read more
Given the right weather, like today, the patio was a fantastic choice. Lots of seating in a patio and it was a nice breeze... throughout our meal. Service was quick and friendly. The burgers are very good. We did get to try to Tina and one of our burgersand that was extremely tasty. I was here with my two teenage sons and we're not used to eating 20 plus dollar burgers. We werenot disappointed, however, but it is somewhat difficult to speak to the relative value. We can only say that we enjoyed ourfood very much. I had an old fashioned, and a 1 oz was reasonably priced. Tastes are great. The kids are Shirley temples whichwere reasonably priced as well. We thought we would have good burgers but we were blown away by them! I had the special - a lamb burger that was done to... perfection. The onion rings were amazing too! Service here is great, and sitting on the patio in summer enjoying the eveningafter a long day hiking is priceless. Read more
I had the elk burger, aka Wapiti burger. It ruined the word Wapiti for me on my trip. I made the mistake of trying something... new and mis-read the menu. There was so much sauce on this burger that it made a mess, my mouth was burning (I do not likespice) and the worst part was that I could not taste the elk at all. The prices were steep for the product I expected to payfor. There was a great tradition here where in the past locals put money on the ceiling. The waitress was great and veryinformative and helpful. Located in downtown golden, the place got a beautiful ambience. From the name, it feels like a pub/bar. However, it's a family... restaurant with a beautiful environment. It busy location with good food. Although not many options for chicken, still we wereable to order food by removing certain items. Read more
Incredible food and very friendly and helpful team! Highly recommend the Bison ribs, and maple sriracha duck confit poutine.... They are both mouth wateringly delicious. Don't miss the maple pie for dessert. A must visit in Golden!!! Read more
The atmosphere is fun, music and decor. The waitress)er work hard and and are all super friendly. Usually when at a restaurant... only 1-2 items are good on the plate. I ordered a very expensive steak $42 for The new york. I hate spending that much on food.But this can be our big eat out because everything on the plate was amazing. The vegetables were cooked perfectly (not soggy),and so much flavor. Everything looked amazing, and there was more food than I could eat. Satisfied Customer! Read more
