Stunning, local, west coast inspired pottery. The owners clearly love what they do and it shows in every piece. If you can get a... chance to visit their gallery in person it is worth the experience. Stop by the Sea&Field Bistro next door while you are therefor a great meal to cap off the Gold River experience. Read more

I totally enjoy the work of this studio because their pottery is just so satisfying. It ticks all my boxes In their shapes,... textures, and the way they are constantly finding new and unique glazing techniques and fresh relevant designs within classicforms. My favourites are the ginkgo bowls in fresh green glazing and delicate organic patterns , and the salmon bowl and plateswith their rich earthy colours and the stories the etched salmon tell. Absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much Island Clayworks! Read more

Though they no longer have the restaurant side of the business that's ok (even if I miss their food and coffee) this has and... will give them even more time on their true love of pottery ???? each piece is unique and hand sculpted / every detail is handcarved into each item. They truly love what they do and it shows they also remember their customers even if it's been monthssince they've seen them. True customer service and amazing unique pieces! Read more

A really beautiful cafe located just near the bridge over Gold River... While I didn't have a coffee, I got one of their fruit... smoothies and was not disappointed. I almost went back for a second one but I was already up the highway by the time I finishedthe first one. Their attached studio and in-café gallery is nice to to look at while you're waiting, and I ended up buying afew of their more unique pieces of clay pottery - the designs and workmanship are something I've never seen before. Definitelya must stop kind of place for Gold River! Read more
