Had the fish tacos today- absolutely perfect! The fish was cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and soft and flavourful on the... inside, and was told by the owner they're freshly made every day, not frozen. The toppings were fresh, and the spice was justenough. The tacos were fully loaded and I was well stuffed after! Went for the first time, and it was outstanding! Had the fish taco which was light, and very fresh. I was desperately trying not... to wolf it down. The chicken taco had a nice spicy kick to it that was not overwhelming...it was just perfect. All the veg wasextremely fresh and tasty. Read more
Absolutely amazing tacos, the flavours were extremely tasty; can?t decide between the jerk chicken or the fish tacos being the... best one! I drove all the way from Barrhaven to have the best tacos in the city and just to find out that it's under a new ownership... I... used to love this place, their food and the staff were really friendly. It's not what it used to be anymore and now you'repaying same price for less quality. I honestly wasn't too impressed with the tacos I had last time I was here , but this food truck is now under new ownership and a... new chef, so I had to give it another chance. The menu is a lot simpler, and they are just selling tacos, churros, chips andgauc and some drinks. The hubby and I both got a set of 4 tacos each and a side of churros. I ordered 3 fish and one vegan, butthey packed in a beef one instead. I don't eat beef, so my loss, and hubbies gain. The hubby got a fish, jerk, beef, and pork.He loved them all, but was meh about the beef, as it was not as colorful looking as the rest. I thought all my fish tacos werefantastic. The tacos also came with lemon, and lime and a side of hot sauce, which was super flavorful and not too hot. I wantedto try the chips and gauc but they were sold out. Churros delish and I really enjoyed the chocolate sauce for dipping. It wouldbe awesome if they had a caramel sauce as well. On that note, I could drink the chocolate sauce it comes with. Dang, it wasgood! Opening up the new sleek black packaging made me extremely happy as well. The tacos were so bright and colorful.Seriously, go look at the pics I uploaded of the tacos...WOW! Everything was packed with so much care. This would have been asolid 5 star for me, but again, they gave me a beef taco instead of the requested vegan taco. 4.5 stars. Read more
