Stopped in for a late dinner because not a lot was open. All 3 of us had the special (fettuccine carbonara). All 3 of us woke... up around 3am and assploded. Not a great experience. It's the only thing all 3 of us ate together that day. The food tastedok, if unremarkable, but totally not worth the early morning tummy problems. Fantastic food. Great atmosphere but my Manhattan was mostly vermouth. Vodka drinks were on point though.
The restaurant made our weekend!! Staff, food and drinks were amazing?. Coming back to try the Hanger Steak!!
Jodi/Jody was our waitress and was taking care of the entirety of the first floor (ten tables). Even while under this pressure,... (and it only being her second shift) she still gave her valued opinion on drinks, meals, ect. The BBQ wings (with a hint oftruffle) were alright. It's possible I'm not a fan of truffle but the taste was a bit to strong. They're many drink options(including on tap beer) and different meals that change daily. Read more

Fantastic food, ambiance and service! We recently attended a rehearsal dinner for my daughter hosted by the grooms family who... are from out of state and did not know where to go in Gloucester. I gave them a list of possible options with a strongrecommendation for the Franklin. Maria and her staff did a fantastic job! The food was excellent along with the service. Weused the upstairs room which provides a big space with plenty of privacy and easy access to amenities. We highly recommend theFranklin for any events or just a great night out. Read more
We had our rehearsal dinner at Franklin Cape Ann. The food was absolutely incredible. The upstairs room is gorgeous. The service... was a 10/10 and Maria was amazing to work with. She made the night so great and worry free. I can't wait to go back and enjoythe yummy food again! Read more
