Hands down the best bar in the area. It is newly renovated, excellent bar tenders and live music. I recommend their espresso... martini. You can?t go wrong at Drift. Read more
I went to DRIFT this weekend with my mom, aunt, and little cousin. I didn?t realize that it was a tapas restaurant, but we got a... charcuterie board and my mom and I got espresso martinis. They were excellent. I also got a tequila sunrise which was great. I?monly taking two points off because our server seemed irritated with us and the food was a little expensive. He could have hadstuff going on though (or maybe we were just annoying lol, but I would hope not). This is definitely some place I would go againwith a group of girlfriends for a night out. Read more
Use to LOVE drift .. miss their drinks; but I couldn?t support the switch to small plates.. a small plate of food for the same... price of a full meal. They also removed a lot from their old menu. They recently swapped to ?tapas style?, except they kept thesame price as a regular meal. ?Shareable plates? but not really. You?ll def want to share the bill but not enough food on eachplate to really share unless you just want a bite. Good drinks and good music? nice location with a good view to just hang out;but don?t come hungry. Tip: Minglewood offers full plates, good prices, good drinks and music right across the street. ( Idon?t work here?. Nor there! Just a Gloucester local who used to frequent drift and had to find an affordable place with samevibe)! Read more
The ambience is really nice and the playlist was great. The staff is super chill, too and didn?t bother us at all. We got the... crab salad and it definitely wasn?t bad, however the portions are a lot smaller than expected, so I wouldn?t recommend cominghere on a completely empty stomach Read more

On two occasions the staff were so rude that me or my friends do not want to come back anymore. It's unfortunate because the... espresso martins were so good The first time I came, it was busy. We tried to bring a birthday cake in since it was one of ourfriend's birthdays. I can understand the establishment not wanting us to eat it, but the bartender refused to let us even walkin with the cake. Once we got in, the bartenders were ignoring me whenever I made drink requests. At some point, someone at mytable broken their glass. I went to the bartender to tell him we had a broken glass and needed some help. But the bartendershrugged and continued to make drinks. So I had to pick up the glass with my barehands then wipe down the table with napkins. When I went to show the bartender, he still shrugged and didn't care I was handling broken glass. We still wanted to try thebar again. So we went this Sunday at 10pm. The bouncer said they were "no longer letting anyone in for the rest of the night" .. . but it closes at 1am. There were barely anyone in there and he said it was too full Read more
