Large portion for sure.. the fish chowder has big chunk of fish in every bite. Got mussels for appetizer, also huge portion.... Seafood marinara is enormous amount of seafood over linguine for $35. Can't beat that. Fried cod cheeks are perfectly friedserved with delicious tartar sauce. Place is tight and small so it's not that comfortable. Service is ok, they seem to be busythe whole time so it's understandable. Read more

The Causeway is super casual and delicious. The staff there are excellent and hustle to get tables moved through. So don't worry... if there are people waiting, you'll get in quick! It's a fun view of a marina, outdoor seating is available. Ice cream is nextdoor ???????? It's a bring your own beer or wine and they'll provide glasses for a small cleaning charge. Large family? Bringthem all! Everyone is welcome here. I'm looking forward to another visit soon! Read more

Great seafood, great service considering how busy it gets, and good value for money! We got their boiled lobster, shrimp &... scallop marinara pasta, and grilled octopus. The octopus was great as well as the other foods! Read more

Wonderful food and large portions. Worth going again. Seafood pasta dish is next on our list. The fried seafood was good and the... seafood in broth was even better! That would be next time choice. Most have. Enjoy it too! Read more

Slow service. Fried native clam and calamari are large portion yet completely flavorless. Baked scallop was overcooked and the... sauce was too greasy. Entrees are generally overpriced. Personally found the restaurant being overrated? Read more

The Causeway was super busy when we arrived. They told us it would be 15-20 minutes. We were only seated after 50 minutes. We... started with fried calamari which was tasty but slightly undercooked and the breading easily fell off. My wife's grilled salmonwas overcooked - flavorful though. My son had shrimp scampi which was great. I had the scallop and shrimp marinara - wayundercooked! Both shrimp and scallops were still translucent. The pasta was soupy. I couldn't eat it but my wife polished offmany of my scallops regardless. Our waitress was so busy I didn't have the heart to complain. I brought it home and finishedcooking it the following day. Loved their policy concerning alcohol and their generous portions. I suspect our experience wasan anomaly and may try again. Read more

The service was fantastic, and the portions were MASSIVE. The price was high, but with the amount of food you get, it's kind of... hard to complain. The fried food tended to all taste the same to me, but their fish chowder was fantastic, and their tartarsauce was life changing. My wife and I actually had to leave in a hurry as she wasn't feeling well (we had just gotten off a 9hour boat ride), and the staff was very understanding and helped us get out of there as soon as possible. The seafood cuisine is upstanding, but be ready to share it. I ordered the Mussels & Calamari Marinara, $22.00, the dish is... really good, but it is huge!!! I barely made it to half of it. Don't come for the view because there is no view, except that ofthe main street. However, the food and attention are good. I was happy in this visit. Read more
