Such an amazing hotel. Comfortable bed, wonderful views of the ocean from every room. My wife and I ditched staying at our... Airbnb in Salem for this hotel. Such beautiful views. Can sit on the rocks across from the hotel and watch the waves or from theroom balcony. Breakfast cafe was super tasty as well. Definitely will be back. Read more

Our family love love this hotel! The lady at the front desk was super helpful. She gave us a map of the area and circled places... she thought we would love. The breakfast cafe that is open until 11 am was delicious. The view from the room was spectacular! Highly recommend visiting downtown Rockport, 7 Seas whale watch, Hammond castle, and Salem. You can take a train straight intothe heart of Salem from Gloucester. This was a vacation we will never forget! Read more

Have been visiting Gloucester for years and always stayed at a competitors on Atlantic Ave. Thi A couple of weeks ago, we... decided to stay at the Atlantis, as our normal place has become a bit pricey, less friendly and has lost some of its lustersince changing ownership. The Atlantis had the same spectacular view at a better price! The rooms and place were immaculate, staff friendly, helpful, breakfast was good, and coffee in room was surprisingly tasty. The grounds were beautifully maintainedwith lovely gardens, especially around the pool area. The many flowers, were constantly visited by many Monarch butterflies andcool looking dragon flies, which was a real treat to watch. The rooms have balconies overlooking the grounds with breathtakingocean views. At night we watched the almost full moon rise and reflect across the glistening water. Such a peaceful and magicalexperience! The only negative thing to say about the place was it was really, really, sad to leave!!! Cant wait to goback?????????????? Read more

My son and I stayed there earlier this summer for a fishing charter out of Gloucester. It was quiet, scenic, and close to town.... We had a balcony on the middle level and enjoyed sitting out in the evening to watch the ocean. I travel frequently for workand stay at all the chain hotels, large and small. My wife will tell you that I am not one to notice things that need cleaning. But I was really struck by the cleanliness of our room. It was the cleanest I've seen in a long time. Like it was cleaned bysomeone who truly cared. Even when sitting out on the balcony, the floor looked like it had a fresh coat of paint, and Iimagine the exterior is tough to keep up in that environment. I was impressed with the place overall and would definitely goback. Read more

22 year anniversary trip! We flew in to Boston, stopped here overnight, to head to Maine! Room was nice with a beautiful view of... the ocean! You can not walk to downtown, we got a taxi to hit the restaurants & bars. We went to the fisherman statue & the hikein the park. It was absolutely stunning! Would definitely recommend! Read more

As someone who travels often near and far, I can promise you those who complained in these reviews are generally unhappy people... who havent learnt to appreciate the gift of visiting a new destination. The rooms: clean & great for the location and price. the view ????, the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms weren't the largest but who travels to sit in the bathroom?! they hadtwo large mirrors to get ready in front of. the rugs are not my taste but for two nights, its not ruining my trip. The hotel:it's location couldn't be more perfect. you feel away from it all but its 10 min or less to all shops, stores and sights. thepool is sparkling clean and the grounds are lovely. The staff: WONDERFUL! So helpful, friendly and welcoming. the breakfastwas great, some might complain that it's expensive and service is slow but isn't everywhere? I can't say enough great thingsabout the team at Atlantic Read more

This place is so peaceful. Absolutely Beautiful! The staff is as amazing as the raspberry filled cookies they offer you when... you check in. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. My husband and I look forward to coming back every year. I suggestbooking early because the rooms book up quickly. We always stay in a top floor king room and you have a sitting area outsideyour room over looking the ocean. If you like the sound of the ocean, you can leave your door open a crack (leaving the screendoor shut) and listen all night. There's no smoking on your deck, but they offer a bench in the parking lot to smoke. They alsohave a really nice cafe open from 7:30-11:00 daily. The food is breakfast only but really good food. Home made corned beef hash.We Highly Suggest booking here. Tammy and Dan H. Read more

The room was clean, the service was fantastic and the view was beautiful! We loved being able to sit on our balcony or go for a... walk along the coast. The hotel is conveniently located close to town and Good Harbour Beach. Kevin at the front desk was veryhelpful and friendly. He even went out of his way along with Steve (the maintenance guy) to assist my husband with charging hiscar. This was a huge plus for us after having driven all the way from Toronto. The homemade cookies at the front were delicious. The room itself could use a bit of a refresh. That being said, I'd recommend this hotel and definitely would stay here again. Read more
