What a surprise! I stumbled upon Hugo?s while driving through GS and had such a fabulous meal. Everything was amazing the moment... I walked though the door. My wife and I went to Glenwood Springs for her birthday week, and Hugos proved to be an amazing local restaurant for all... occasions. We went for dinner, lunch, and brunch! When we went to dinner, we mentioned at the end we were celebrating mywife's birthday. We went the next day for lunch, and they gave us a slice of cake with Happy Birthday decorated on the plate. They also had overheard the couple next to us were celebrating the mom's birthday, and they came out with a Tiramisu when theymentioned that was their favorite dessert! The service was exceptional. This is a must go to restaurant in Glenwood! The atmosphere was classy and the food is on another level. I got the ribeye and it... was cooked to perfection. It melted in my mouth. Overall the food was delicious however, it took us at ask the Hostess what happened to my drink that i ordered. I waited over... 20 minutes for a glass of wine. Hostess comes back and said they didn't carry the wine that i ask for. Our waitress could havetold me that and ask if i wanted something else. Also one of my party guests RibEye steak was too fatty. He said it was verytender and good wish there was more meat. The evening was save by the Desserts we try one over every thing and they was alldelicious. Read more
