Server threatened to call the Police on me JUST for asking why was taking so long? My family and I LOVE Potbelly! We are very... frequent diners at this location for over 15 years, never ever had a problem or issue of any sort... Until today, SaturdayAugust 20, 2022 at 1:20 PM! Restaurant not that busy (11 people in line), but was taking forever to move on, and after 18+minutes I placed my order with a very efficient preparer, I dare to politely ask the server after the oven, why was taking solong; the server stared at me with his eyes wide open and, instead to answer with a simple apology or any sort of excuse, hetold me: "if you like you can leave! There is the door!" Astonished (but still politely) I replied, "yes I will because I don?twant a cold sandwich, but first I want your name", he refused and then when I asked to talk to the manager, he introducedhimself as "The Manager" and then he threatened me to call the police on me if I was not leaving, and immediately he ran outfrom his station, to show me the way out! I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life, especially in the wonderfuland family oriented Glen Town Center where we live! I am a polite grandfather, low abiding citizen and this behavior should NOTbe acceptable anywhere! Read more

I just ordered a vanilla Shake with a ham smoke sandwich. The cup was so dirty on the top inside and not even full. It was like... 3/4 full. I threw them in the garbage. Food as expected for a Potbelly so no complaint on that score. Went in Friday afternoon about 1pm. Two thirds, or about 9 or 10... tables were open and every single one of them was filthy, sticky, crumbs on tables and chairs and no one bussing the whole timeI was there for lunch. Two young ladies working alone behind the counter, nice but not up to the usual Potbelly standards. Iwon't be returning. Read more
So I ordered a sandwich and before making my sandwich the lady said we can okay for it. Which is totally fine, so we did and I... forgot I wanted avocados on it and told her and she said it was fine. I thought she meant she would give it to me anyways. Iguess she was telling me it was okay and that I needed avocados, because she didn't add it to my sandwich. I mean I don't mindpaying for it....then I reached my hand out to get the bag from her and she tossed it past my hand on the counter instead. Isaid thank you and sat down. Ordered a pick up yesterday and they ONLY added meat and cheese to our Wreck when I had ordered everything on it! My dad... couldn?t even find the pick up area it had said to go to in the confirmation email. Very disappointed just because i ordered anearned a free sandwich(perks) it was not fully loaded because we wouldn?t see until we got home! It is extremely impossible tocontact someone online.
