Reviews for Jersey Mike's Subs in Glenview, IL
Last half hour before closing. They refused to make Philly steak sandwiches, so cold roast beef instead. The guy who came in... after us was refused service entirely. No late night dining here, I guess. Read more
Don?t order online unless you want to wait 20 minutes in the store for your order. Not sure if the employees are on a go-slow or... just plain useless but terrible customer service Read more
After not having had Jersey Mike's for around four years, because I did not think it was good the last time, I can without a... doubt say nothing has changed. First off, it hit me hard--I got diarrhea about fifteen minutes after eating it. I got thechicken bacon and ranch warm sandwich. It is just low quality, from the bread to, especially, the chicken. Although the chickenis technically diced or sliced, I guess, the taste is much closer to a ground from the grocery store. The whole sandwich wasbland. Service--pretty checked out, and one of the supervisors was very short with an employee, so then he was not friendly. ThePepsi lines are also not right--the Pepsi was definitely not tasting like Pepsi. I used to work for Pepsi and I love Pepsi--thisis not good Pepsi. $14.77 for a medium size sandwich, bag of chips and large Pepsi, including tax and I tipped $1.23, as theyput it right in your face when you put your card in. I would pass and go to Potbelly--far better value and quality and service.Heck, Subway is way better than this place for less cost. Really disappointing--I really regretted not going to Culver's orPotbelly, but now I will cross this chain off my list forever. I did give two stars for fast (but not friendly) service. Read more
I placed an online order for pick-up for myself and two work colleagues at this location today. Picked up the order and took it... back to my office. Discovered after opening my sandwich order (tuna) that it was missing a key ingredient ? the tuna. Immediately called the location to request that they refund me for that part of the order. Called 4 times and it went tovoicemail. Despite the fact that there were at least 9 associates working behind the counter when I picked up the order, no onecould pick up the phone? Sounds like a great sales prevention strategy. I am now not happy so I get back in my car and driveback to the location to get a refund. I relate this information to the woman behind the counter who never apologizes for theinconvenience and seems annoyed that I?m complaining during their lunch rush. Fabulous customer service Jersey Mike?s team ?keep it up? Read more
This was my first time visiting a Jersey Mike Subs. I ENJOYED the sub ?. I had the Wednesday special which was the turkey and... provolone, chips and a large drink for $8.99 plus tax. My daughter had the veggie. I think what made the difference was choosingthe rosemary bread. ???? Try it! I liked that they had deli sliced meat and cheeses too. The indoor tables needed to be tendedto but we sat outside under the umbrellas and that was nice that they had outdoor seating. Would visit again. Read more
Treat online customers badly, giving walk in priority over those who order online thinking they would get there food faster. No... way. Staff knew I was disappointed but couldn't offer "we're sorry" or thanks for waiting. While I'm waiting I see the menuboard for in store customers is much less than the online price. Read more
Delicious freshly made Subs, generously portioned at reasonable prices. Nice variety of Subs and toppings to choose from, my... favorite is #43 Philly Cheesesteak w/Chipotle Mayo and added tomatos yum yum yum. Soft drinks, Iced Tea, Chips and Cookies alsoavailable. Also the taste and quality are pretty consistent from store to store???? pictured are the #43 w/ iced tea and the BigKahuna sub which is also a cheesesteak along with extra cheese, jalapenos, and mushrooms and the Chicken Cheesesteak. I?m writing this not to cite fault at this location. In fact, their service, delivery and preparation was excellent. A very nice... staff. It was a pleasant experience. That being said, I?m not sure how Jersey Mike?s stays competitive in this businessespecially in Chicago. Their sandwiches remind me of sandwiches I ate at my high school: bland, tasteless, limited toppings. Thebread was rough. The texture of their condiments have no taste. Compared to Subway, Jimmy John?s, Portillo?s and Pot Belly, thiscomes in dead last. I wish wasn't being harsh. The irony is that I don?t think I am. Read more
