I went to Ways with a friend tonight. Let me start with the positive notes. Our server was absolutely amazing. She did the very... best she could with the workload at hand, and the food was pretty decent. The brisket was well prepared, the beer was good, andthe margarita was even better. The mac & cheese with brisket is an experience to behold. The house wings were perfectly done, and the fries were outstanding. The place was absolutely full to the gills because of a show at the Keswick Theatre. This madefor a not-so-great overall experience. Issue number 1; when we first arrived we were told it would be 15 minutes to get anoutside table. When the hostess came to seat us, she brought us to an inside table. When we mentioned that we had wanted to sitoutside, we were told it would be an additional 20-minute wait. We took the inside table so we didn?t have to wait any longer.Issue number 2; while waiting at the bar we were not acknowledged at all. Even after attempting to flag down a barkeep we wereleft waiting. Issue number 3; wait staff wasn?t able to get to us to take a drink order for 15-20 minutes after we were seated.Issue number 4; except for the appetizer, the food took over 40 minutes to arrive after ordering. A more experienced staff andbetter planning would have helped to negate the evening?s woes. The only reason I?m giving it 3 stars is because of the overallexperience. Our server, Janine(sp?)was the best part of the evening. She scored us some free Brussels sprouts. She gets all thestars. For a bill that was $100 the experience could have been better. Read more
This restaurant serves yummy food and drinks and the employees are very friendly. However, I think they have grown too large for... the number of employees. We waited 1.5 hours from the time we sat down before we left having never received our dinner. We wereserved our beer and an appetizer. I had to change my order twice because they had run out of what I ordered (by 6:30pm) and myfood never came. We paid for our drinks and the appetizer and left. I recommend the place if you just want to drink, but yourfood might never arrive. Read more
I had wanted to go in there for so long! I finally got a chance to go try their beer. I had the stout beer on tap and I must... say it was really good AND the price reasonable. I saw some of the menu items come out of the kitchen ???? looking appetizing. Will be back soon. Read more
Beer was excellent. Chicken sandwich was tasty. Also got the chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream it was perfectly moist... and gooey. Read more
