Love CUBA CUBA those plates takes me back to my abuelitas silverware so I felt at home. I had a Restaurant close by at Thornton... unfortunately it closed so now this is the one I go to. The only reason I give it four star is that the service was a littlewonky, few drinks where wrong, server was not to attentive with our table. We went to Little Havana in Miami in December and I?ve gotta say this restaurant in Denver was excellent and authentic! We each... got a cafecito, empanada de picadillo (beef), and cubano, and it was all delicious. The mojito was excellent as well! Read more
This place was absolutely delicious. The lechon was very tender, just melts in your mouth. The picadillo & ropa vieja are hands... down the best empanadas in town. The flan was also next level?best I?ve had in awhile. Read more
Service and food were amazing! Right off the bat staff welcomed us and were checking in with us frequently throughout the meal.... Even when a rush came service was great. Food was spectacular! The Cuban sandwich and the fries were on point. You also can't gowrong with the cafe con leche which taste amazing if you are into sweet coffee. Hope to be back soon and you won't bedisappointed. The food was good, the service sucked. No utensils, no napkins, dirty glasses. The white couple right across from us got... utensils, asked if they were ok, if they needed anything. We did not get the same treatment. Makes me wonder Cuba Cuba??????? Read more
The food was very good. The pork had a lot of garlic in it. The only thing I didn't like was the yuca fries, but my mom liked... them. The sauce they were in was good though. The flan was a little firmer then I was used to,, but it still had a good tast.Their prices are about average. The only place where they loosed points is that it was hard to get water refills and even thoughwe told them they were out of toilet paper when we first got there, it still hadn't been replenished by the time we got ready toleave. Pretty okay Cuban spot. Food came out fast and service was good. Had a mojito which was average but also tasted like a mojito... just could have used a little more sugar. Overall a nice spot to get somewhat of a Cuban experience. Definitely better than Iexpected for Denver. Had the palomilla steak and the vaca frita as entrees. The steak was seasoned so well! Could taste thenaranja agria on it. Picadillo and ropa vieja empanadas. The ropa vieja empanada was amazing! Make sure to ask for a sauce todip it in. Overall would try again. Read more
