A very lovely space where you find the one-of-a-kind Armenian food. Really fell in love with the signature flatbread here -... ultra-thin bread plus the very delicious filling made from 12 diff herbs, all made to order and served hot! I came across this restaurant?s page on Google Maps when searching the area for authentic Armenian food. This place was such an... incredible find! They only serve one entree and one dessert ? zhengyalov hatz and baklava. They have a variety of drinks. Thezhengyalov hatz was SO GOOD. Baklava was also delicious. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I?m so, so glad tohave found this place and tried this delicious Armenian specialty. You must try this neighborhood gem! Read more
I've been watching this place for a while and wanting to find the time to drop in. Today I got to have the most lovely lunch... experience there. Their signature dish is a rolled sandwich of sorts, flat bread with a wonderful concoction of 12 herbs andthen rolled up to eat. It is absolutely delicious. It's a hot food they make it on the flat top so the bread is toasty and theherbs warm and aromatic. It's a good size portion and I snarfed mine completely. Although it was enough food, I loved it so muchI almost ordered another one so that the taste experience would never end. Along with my sandwich roll I got a pot of thyme andmint tea which is a clear glass pot filled with fresh herbs and boiling water sat over a candle to keep it hot. It is sodelicious and aromatic and the perfect compliment to the roll. I'm in love and I'm going to come many many more times in thefuture. The service is really quite lovely and fast and everyone was very kind to me and willing to answer my questions. Doyourself a favor and try this place out you will not be sorry! It's nicely decorated, clean and spacious and a very comfortableplace to just sit and enjoy a light meal. Read more
The zhengyalov and baklava were the two items that my friend recommended to me. They both were delicious. But the items were... very light and I was not very filled after finishing both items. The price was a bit high for me when I compared it to what youcan get for ~$15 at another restaurant in Glendale. Read more
