Just like home (I'm Swedish) First of all, the pizzas are amazing, just like our pizza in Sweden, and second of all, the owner... is so nice and fun. It even turned out that we were from the same town in Sweden. (No that doesn't add anything to myreview) Crust is thing and we'll baked, and toppings are just perfect. Not too much and very good quality of meat andveggies. Pizza salad (small salad to eat with or before the pizza) have this perfect amount of vinegar and oregano. Over all agreat pizza place. I love this place. All the food (not just the pizza -- the kabob plates are great too!) is fresh and delicious. And I like that... it's family-owned. I work at home and often pick up my lunch there -- the portions are so generous, that they make two meals.But the dine-in area is cute, too. It's places like this that make a neighborhood special! Viking Pizza - mozzarella, kabob, feta, cucumber, peppercini, onion, fresh tomato, salad, sauce / 5 ????! Quattro Stagioni Pizza... - ham, shrimp, mussels, olive, mushroom, artichokes/ 5 ????! I found a kabob pizza post online somewhere and it lookedinteresting which then led to me wondering where in LA I might find one and that led me to Viking Pizza and Kabob. My parentshad just arrived for a visit and that felt like a good time to see if a kabob pizza was as good as it sounded. The answer was adefinite yes! The pizza was very tasty and very much tasted like a kabob. I was ready for whatever outcome it could have beenso I was thrilled to find out it was tasty. The pizza crust was New York style, thin and chewy. Complimented the toppings verywell. Since there was three of us and a big menu of interesting pizza combos we also tried out a Quattro Stagioni. Also verytasty. The shrimp and mussels were good quality. If I hadn't seen a kabob pizza online I would very likely never have foundViking Pizza which is a shame because it is a really good place that offers up a lot of creative, gourmet pizza combos. Very cool place. I definitely recommend it. Very unique pizza it reminds me of pizza I?ve had in New Orleans. I walked by and... saw the sign for Swedish pizza and I had to try it despite trying to avoid carbs otherwise. :) They have a large menu otherthan pizza they have a lot of Mediterranean dishes that look very tasty. The interior of the restaurant is very cozy, itreminds me of places I?ve enjoyed in Chicago. You can see into the kitchen, the smell of food is in the air, many pictures onthe wall depicting classic Hollywood actors and scenes. A large glaring flat screen TV with news coverage of the Russianinvasion of Ukraine. It?s cold outside but warm in here! I could sit here for hours and munch on this pizza. The gentleman whoserved me is very kind with a big smile on his face he asked me midway through if I enjoyed the pizza and my heart warmedup:) I could just fall asleep here it?s so cozy. Excellent local spot for pizza or Middle Eastern sandwiches. The owner takes pride in his restaurant and is friendly and gives... top notch service. The Chicken sandwich, and Armenian coffee were both top notch! I highly recommend. Big portions, reasonableprices, uses good ingredients, and easy parking make it ***** in my book. Read more
