Great late happy hour everyday. 5 people bill was $125 and we all left full. Buy one get one for $1 large beer. Most special... rolls are around $10. and lunch specials seem great too. Really consistent good sushi. Standard non special rolls are alsoincredible and not skimped on. Great appetizers as well! Read more

It was great, I loved the food and the reception was good. I don't think I could have had a better time there. The only thing... that was throwing me off was the interior but it was funny when we found out. Loved their sushi and had a blast. Read more

Octopus in Glendale and Burbank are our go-to sushi spots for fresh sashimi, nigiri, or rolls. Their menu is great and they have... a decent selection for adventurous eaters. We have been ordering through postmates throughout 2020-2021 and the quality isstill there. My daughter and fiancé absolutely love the salmon nigiri. Their sweet shrimp and tuna nigiri is amazing. Bento lunch is a pretty good deal. Only about $15… (+$2 if you pick sashimi like me) you can choose two main dishes then the... rest (salad, sinomono, rice, miso soup, edamame, karaage fried chicken, and gyoza) will come with them. The staff was nice too. Read more

I was actually on my way to the theater and found out it was closed. So to make the best of the trip out there, I decided why... not try out the happy hour at Octopus. Came in and was seated right away. Received a lackluster “Irashaimasen” but thatdidn’t bother me. Waiter was kind, and as soon as I knew what I wanted, I ordered some tempura, and picked out my specialtyroll! The tempura came out first, the texture was deliciously crispy and the flavors were nice! I would definitely recommendthe tempura here. The Alaskan roll on the other hand… what a mess! The sushi rice was just stuck together, and some parts ofit wouldn’t even stay on the seaweed. I would try to pick up a piece, and it would literally disassemble itself. It was anutterly messy disaster! I felt like I was eating a poke bowl, and almost asked for a spoon to eat my specialty deconstructedroll. I would recommend to those who insist on visiting, to skip the sushi and rolls. Despite having a sushi bar on site, perhaps their specialty is fried items and other things. Read more

Food was amazing! The entire staff kept coming over to make sure I didn't need anything. The place is directly across from... public parking and other restaurants. Ideal spot would definitely come back again. I got the house hot sake flavored withlychee. I normally don't like sake but this was good especially for beginners drinking it. Next I got the broiled mussels andsalmon carpaccio both different but both were delicious. Then I asked the waiter's suggestion for a specialty roll as there areso many to choose from on the menu. She suggested based on my preference the salmon crunch. If you like French's crispy onionsyou'll love this with those on top plus the spicy mayo. Read more
